71″ Extra Tall x 40.6″ Wide : The cat gate is 55.1″ tall, with 3 removable 15.7″ panels that extend it to 71″ tall. Fits 29.5″ to 40.6″ openings, extra tall cat gate ideal for your kitchen, doorways, and stairs. Keep your lively kittens where they belong – no more escape artists!
1.37″ Utral Narrow Gap: The gaps between each two bars are only 1.37″, which effectively prevents small or curious pets from getting caught or escaping. For added safety, if the gaps are too wide at the two ends of the pet gate with cat door, 2 spacer bars are provided to reduce the width
Double-Locking Design: Our double-locking design with a lift and a pull ensures safety – it’s easy for adults but a challenge for clever pets. The extra tall pet gate opens in two directions and secures at a 90° angle for freely access. Plus, there’s an adjustable small pet door for your furfriends
Anti-stumble Design: The small ramp installed at the bottom of the pet gate not only protects the floor but also reinforces the gate. Furthermore, it allows for the smooth passage of items like push carts, minimizing the risk of stumbling
Pressure Mounted with Ease: Attach pressure bolts on both sides of the pet gate for cats with no need for tools or drilling, ensuring protection for the wall surface. An adult can install and uninstall this cat gate for doorway independently in just 15 minutes by following the user manual

Customers say

However, opinions differ on whether it offers good value for money.

Don’t let the price scare you. This is the most amazing pet gate ever in the history of ever.
I’m a volunteer foster for a local rescue, which means I’ve got random assortments of kittens or cats in my house all the time. I converted my gigantic FROG room into a cat room (since that room is so huge, it’s useless), but there has always been a problem with gating that room. Because it has steps and a railing going down into the room, cats can jump onto the railing and then just leap over any gate. Even tall ones. So, I put two gates in, one upside down on top of the other, which just meant I bumped my head at least once a day. And because smaller cats can squeeze through every other gate I’ve gotten (or, in the case of the 21 pound big boy, push through it), I can’t just leave the door open and count on the gates. So, they wind up with the door closed and not engaging with the world. Finally, I said I had to do something better. This gate has totally changed my life. Seriously, I love it. Every time I push up that marvelously smooth latch and walk in without stooping, I fall in love a little bit more.My rating system is + or -, with sometimes a +- thrown in.+ Construction: This thing is a marvelous beast. It’s solidly made and exceptionally well engineered. Assembly was flawless and simple, and I installed it into the door frame with zero hitches. Everything about this, from the hardware to the packaging care, is top-notch.+ Ease of Use: Oh, what a dream! No more squeezing and yanking on latches. Just push the lock with your thumb, if you’ve locked it, then lift the latch with no effort and it opens as smoothly as magic. Closing it is a little more tricky, since just flinging it back will make it slide out of the latch and open the other way. Still, it’s a marvel.+ Bar Spacing: Yes! Finally, a gate that a sneaky 4 month old kitten can’t get out of! The bars are very close together, so no cat who isn’t a tiny kitten is going to sneak on by. Very small kittens are contained in a Zampa and only out for play when supervised, so I have no worries on that score, but if you do have an 8 week old kitten, they might get their head stuck, so exercise caution there.+ Height: Perfect! That extender at the top was super easy to install and doesn’t upset the balance of the door one bit. And it works. No one, not even the athlete jumper cat, has been able to scale that edifice.+ Engagement: The best part of all is that now the cats can engage with what’s beyond the door. Most of the cats I get are here for socialization, so new things scare them. Even the first time they hear a toilet flush can be a fearful thing. Separated only by a gate, they can get used to the world of humans while still feeling safe in their “territory.” It’s been a game changer for the two shy boys, who are now far more active in seeking contact with others. No one feels closed off or locked up or alone. What’s not to love about that?

    Very well built
I did so much research before deciding on this gate. I decided on this because the actual gate pressure mounts between the wall/doorframe and not the ceiling…which actually gave us more height than other gates I was looking at. I did think that this was a bit taller but that was my mistake in measuring our floor to ceiling. Oops…should have let the husband do that but I was only off by a couple of inches not a big deal and this is adequate height! We are taking in a Siberian forest cat and the owner of the cat said he can jump very high, is very “crafty” and will get out if he can. We got this so we can slowly introduce our cats and the new cat very slowly. We will put up a partial wall at the bottom so they cannot see each other at first. I wish there were a company that could include something like that into the design. Possibly a solid portion that could be slowly raised daily until fully introduced and removed later, then the gate as pictured for a while until complete use to each other. Maybe this company will take that into account if they see this review. But this gate will be perfect anyhow. It would just make it even more perfect if that was an option. This gate is tall, it is very well built and sturdy! My husband was very skeptical at first because he is constantly complaining about how all of Amazon is garbage! But not this! He even said that it was built VERY well, easy to assemble, the directions were simple and straightforward, the hardware was easy to use. It opens and closes easily, it swings towards you or away from you and it has a pet door. The bars are very narrowly placed so no pet will get stuck in the bars. It has a nifty little tab you can turn downward to ensure it is securely locked and if you even wanted you could put a padlock through that space but isn’t necessary for our needs. It has no sharp edges or anything that can cause problems with the animals or even our toddler. This gate is beautiful, it looks really nice. I got this during Black Friday sale and it was a great deal for how well it is built! Happy husband, happy kitties, happy toddler, happy wife/mommy! It’s a win for this wild family!

    Perfect and easy to use
We wanted to find a way to block the cats out of the kitchen area, but needed a tall gate because one of them is very determined and good at jumping high. We initially tried to build our own solution but it was just too much time and effort. There aren’t very many pet gates this tall, so this particular gate was just perfect for us. It’s a bit expensive but for the convenience, it feels worth it! The locking mechanism is easy to use, and the door swings smoothly both ways. We picked this one over the other tall pet gates because it has a convenient little pet door at the bottom too. This was actually the second pet door we tried—we tried another brand that was slightly cheaper but it was missing the middle range extender and had worse instructions. It’s pretty sturdy so far. I think if the cats tried to climb or body slammed the gate, it would hold! I’m not sure it would hold up against a child pushing though.Would totally recommend getting this pet door and wish we got it sooner! I would also recommend getting wall mount protectors as well (not included) to protect your walls. Nothing wrong with our walls but just good to prevent damage.

Bar width great for kittens and height good for most cats
I loved the narrow bar spacing compared to the usual pet cat to stop small kittens from sneaking through. It was relatively easy to install, and I appreciated the extra bars provided to narrow the gaps between the gate and the wall.Height-wise, I was hopeful it would stop all my cats, but I had one overachiever that jumped over even the attachment on the first try. Fortunately, the rest of my cats are much lazier, and it’s still a good gate to limit their access. The small gate on the bottom is convenient to leave open to make sure that the cats always have access even if the gate is accidentally closed.Overall, I still consider it a good investment, and the build quality is solid.
