Nice Easy doorbell
Doorbell receiver (sound part) has to be plugged in. Has two volume levels. Touch pads are very sensitive and work great. Don’t know if the old dog will ever learn to use them on her own without us constantly showing her…. but it will be nice for when we accidentally lock each other out – no more banging hard on the sliding door! Came super duper fast. The doorbell has many songs to chose from and it was easy to pick one song for the inside bell and a different song for the outside bell.

Strong, good volume, easy to set up
Super easy set up and many different chimes to choose from. If only our dog was a little smarter and would actually use them!!! He does, when he accidentally steps on them. These were purchased so he would stop scratching at the new door. Ugh. Guess we need more training. But once trained, it works great and held up under a foot of snow!

Cool Design
Item works as expected. I wish there was an easier way to adjust the volume sounds but it looks good

Great way to potty train!
We have had this product for a few months and it had been great. We had a bit of trouble get “potty” cues out of our lab pup and this was our saving grace. He caught on quickly with positive reinforcement (good smelly treat), and was potty trained within a week of receiving. 4mos later and no treats needed, I can here the bell anywhere in the house. Couple of things to note: if you put a second push button outside, it doesn’t always work well in the cold. The product does clearly state good until -4, but WI gets below that quite often. There are a lot of sound/chime options and if your pup hits the button more than once, it will play your selected chime the # of times it is pushed. I have an impatient lab, so can get a bit annoying lol Great product overall and I contine to recommend to all of my doc social media groups.

Super easy set up! My puppy started using it the first day by herself.
Super easy set up. The button to push comes with extra Velcro stickers if you have to move it. Batteries are already included in the button part. You do have to plug in the receiver, the part that plays the bell or song choice. I love the fact it came with so many song choices and also allows for volume control. Functions as stated. If the dog doesnât press hard enough the bell wonât ring. The size is perfect and I had my puppy stand by the wall so I knew where her nose was at before I placed the button. It has an indicator light so you know it is working. Velcro is strong so it wonât pull off easily. I started with pushing the button before we went out each time. On the third time I showed her how to use her nose to tap it and when it went off I rewarded her with a treat and said good girl letâs go potty and went outside. The next time we went out she hit the button by herself. I was a proud mama. She had used it when she doesnât need to go potty so we still have some training to do but very happy with the product quality.

Fantastic tool!
Omg, I wish I had this doorbell set when I was potty training my first puppy! I bought it because I was having trouble potty training my new puppy. She would go to the door and sit, but if I didnât notice her doing it she would just go somewhere else in the house. When I installed this, she picked up on it within hours. Now Iâd say sheâs about 80% potty trained at only 13 weeks old, which is better than I thought sheâd be based on the first few weeks we had her. The only problem is she was born and lived in a barn until we took her, so she loves being outside and she rings it constantly just to go out and play. Weâve created a monster, but Iâll take it if it means cleaning up less puddles!

Limited Area of Bell Sensitivity
This is a great concept, but unfortunately the only sensitive part of the bell is inside the shape of the dog. Most of the white area does not ring the bell, and my puppy doesn’t understand that she has to touch that very small area of the bell.

Easy to set up
This was super easy to set up, although the screws to access the batteries are quite small so you need to be careful when you take them out. This works perfectly and Iâm excited to see if my puppy can learn to use it!

My puppy has learned to use it and it works as described. Would certainly buy again

Great little unit designed to replace the bells hanging on your back door. The unit functions as it should, giving you nice loud feedback when your pup is ready to go out (if you need loud, that is, there is a volume control to suit your needs). The sending unit comes with velcro that will keep it where it’s secured. The overall appearance of the unit is innocuous enough to to not be an eyesore. There is an amazing number of melodies the unit can play, and quite a few variations on the doorbell chime that won’t grate on your nerves. The unit was easy to pair and setup, being usable right out of the box. The programming is intuitive making the item very easy to program and use. Getting your pet to recognize and understand it is a different story altogether! At two weeks, the unit is holding strong to our dog’s using it…it appears to be durable and well built. We have decided to keep the bells at our back door, and placing this unit at the front door so the dog can use it to call for a walk. Another unintended use could be a wireless caller for the bedridden, leaving the sending unit with the sick and plugging the receiving unit with the caregiver. It will be up to you whether this unit is overkill….whether the value for the money is there for an electronic device that replaces a $1.00 bells you can hang from a string. It’s pretty cool to brag that your dog operates electronic devices, but maybe if you’ve got your dog bell trained, re-training them to press a button may be a P-I-T-A.

I got this electronic bell to replace a string of bells that my dog was banging to go out to potty. These old bells have scratched the wall and my husband often doesnât hear them from the family room. This electronic bell is so much better! It has an adjustable volume so it can be turned up quite loud and you can plug the receiver into any wall plug. The touch bell is battery operated and even comes with a screw driver for ease of battery replacement when needed. There are 32 songs/sounds to choose from. In my video, I have the sound as low as possible and I just chose a doorbell sound. I will turn the volume up so that my husband can hear it even with the tv on very loud. The instructions to pair the receiver to the touch button were extremely easy to do and only took less than a minute once I decided what sound I wanted. Since my dog knows â touchâ that is all I told him to do. The bell goes off whether he touches it lightly with his nose or bangs it hard with his paw. The touch button comes with replaceable Velcro pads. I just put it on the mat and the Velcro is sticking to the mat without even the other piece of velcro glued to my mat. Weâve only had it a few days so I might have to attach it more permanently but I didnât want a wall scratched so Iâm trying it on a corner of a floor mat where it wonât get stepped on by people or dogs accidentally. Overall seems like a great bell. Itâs size will make it great for travel too to use in a hotel or Airbnb.

Excellent design, sleek, aesthetically pleasing. Super easy for any size of dog to use, not much pressure is required. Velcro included to attach it to a wall or the floor. Very easy to setup. Adjustable volume, the highest setting is quite loud. And itâs affordable. The only issue I have with it ⦠32 different alerts is really excessive, rather annoying to have to cycle through if you miss the one you want. And – they arenât chimes, alarms, or tones – they are songs. Why? Why would I want to hear happy birthday or Brahms lullaby in part everytime my dog wants outside? I donât! I want a unique tone, simple and effective. This would have been five stars if not for the silly alerts. My Chihuahua is trained already to ring a bell to be let out. Trouble is, we have been working on her reactivity issues and now when she wants out, sheâs goes to the door and sits quietly (as she has learned that being calm gives her what she needs/wants). Occasionally she will tap the bell but she tends to just move it rather than activate it. I am hopeful with this simple design, she will tap the surface with her paw or nose as itâs easier than the bell and with the changes weâve made in her training, she may welcome a new way to get outside.
