I recently got a smaller dog car seat, and while my min pin fit in it, he had to lie corner-to-corner, so I ordered this KEELUXE Dog Car Seat for Large Size Dog.I wish we’d had this for our almost month-long cross-country camping and road trip. Our boy loves the Harv Bed, as we call it. The first smaller one we’d gotten was intended to be a dog bed for hubs’s workshop bc Harvey likes to hang out there with Daddy while he works. This larger one? It hasn’t made it out to the car. I didn’t even have the cushion in it yet when Harv hopped up in there and claimed it. It’s really cold here right now, so when I opened the vacuumed package, the seat and cushion were really slow to inflate, but I helped the cushion along by throwing it in the dryer for 5 minutes, after which time it was perfectly full and shaped.We only have one min pin, but I can tell that two min pins would fit in this car seat just fine, and it has the straps for both. However, I think this Harv Bed will stay in the house unless we take another super-long trip. I will tell you that this car seat is going to be too large for the middle row bucket seats in my Traverse, so it’ll have to go in the 3rd row bench seat. In hubs’s Jeep Wranger, I’m pretty sure it’ll take up 2/3 of the backseat. Since Harvey just sits on our lap for short trips, and bc he loves it so much, we’ll just keep it in the house until we need it for a long trip.

This dog bed is absolutely perfect for the backseat of a truck or car. It has enough room for our 2 french bulldogs although they are of the medium size. I do not think it is big enough for larger breed but small to medium and for 2 small its perfect. The material is nice, soft to the touch and really looks like it is a part of the back seat, not just something you threw back there. I am pretty sure it can fit in the front seat as well depending on what kind of car or truck it is. The bottom part is removable revealing a light mesh type fabric underneath. The whole thing appears to be machine washable. The fabic is super light and not extremely dense to the point that every little thing becomes embedded into it. The walls are stitched together nicely and hold their shape pretty well even after being folded up and put away in the trunk over and over again. Thats another thing i like about it: its portability and how easily it is to fold it up into the truck and then just pull it right back into use with no effort required. I wish i had strapped it in but my dogs are pretty mellow and so i didnt see the need.

Nice quality bed, but just barely big enough for our 48 pound dog.
This is a nice quality dog bed that is being used more in the house than for car trips. It is a nice size to have in the kitchen since the dog likes to be where the people are but this bed isn’t in the way like the large bed we have. It’s made well, looks nice, and is a good size to fit on the back seat or in the back of our mini-van when we travel. Just note that this says up to 55 pounds but it’s better suited for 45 pounds and under IMO. We’ve been using this for a month now and so far it still looks brand new. Very pleased and I recommend this dog bed.

Soft, Roomy Dog or Cat Car Seat
I actually got this Dog Car Seat for Large Size Dog, Soft Car Dog Bed for Dogs for a bed for our very large cat. She likes to sleep in contained areas, and this fit the bill with the tall sides. The bottom cushion is very soft, and the the sides stand up well after giving it time to return to proper size from vacuum packed shipping. I have not used it in the car as it is designed for, but it did come with the straps to clip to collar or harness to keep pet contained to bed while traveling in car.

Good for your pup’s down time
Confession, I did not get this to use in my car.I have certain days when I take my pup with me to the office. I looked at the measurements and found that this would fit nicely under my desk. He has progressively warmed up to it, and seems to enjoy it. It’s made of good materials and your furry loved one should be quite comfy.

The dogs have a more comfortable ride than me
Our dogs love this thing. It seems to be well made, with clean stitching and plush materials. Well padded. It attaches to the cars interior easily and the leashes are easy to use. Makes us feel better knowing our pups won’t fly through the front windshield if something bad happens, and as a bonus, it keeps the little one from climbing over the center console and into our laps while we are driving. They love it so much, they are choosing to lay around in it instead of their other beds and bean bags if we bring it in the house. Going to have to hide it so it stays clean and ready to use in the car….

Calm and Happy Puppers
I got this in preparation for an upcoming road trip and have tested to see if it will be more comfortable for my babies than the seatbelt harness we’ve been using for years. They hopped right in and have been calm and happy for our shorter jaunts. Thanksgiving week will be the real test! Only thing to note is that the strap is a little long for a tiny dog. The mini chiweenie will sometimes jump out to find herself stuck on the seat next to it. I’m not sure if she can’t get back in or if she’s just playing me. Once in, the schnauzer hasn’t bothered trying to get out. Stayed secure and held up to an unexpected slamming of the brakes. Just slid forward a little but I might need to tighten the back strap.
