Dog traveling kennel
Really like the spaciousness. I have a medium size dog and he has so much room to move around and spread out. It is built well, easy to assemble, easy to fold up and take on the go.

Not safe
Our 20 pound beagle manag3d to rip her way out in less then 5 minutes. We put her in it went out to garage watched on camera and ran out. She also bit right threw the mesh. The parts that you put the medal pipes in are plastic. Pieces snapped off putting it together. It is a piece of crap not safe for your precious dog So disappointed. Good thing we checked and watched before we left.

Great and spacious
This portable crate is perfect for my Staffordshire Terrier. She absolutely loves it, and it has lots of room for her bed and toys (it is honestly bigger than her regular crate). It also is light and overall pretty portable (if you are traveling in a car or can check it on your flight). My only complaint is that it is a bit uneven on the ground, and wobbles sometimes, but that also may be because of the way I set it up. I also recommend getting your own dog bed for inside it because the one it comes with is very thin, but it still works!

Great dog crate
I purchased this dog crate for an elderly dog that wanders during the night. It was easy to put together and is holding up well. I think it is a great crate for the price, very similar to another crate we have that was more expensive!

Convenient travel crate
I have an 11 pound Shih Tzu, so keep that in mind for this review.The crate is plenty big enough for my dog. She has a ton of space for activities in this thing. It’s probably too much space for her size.I love how lightweight it is. And it’s got a convenient carrying handle. Our metal cage folds up too, but is super heavy and doesn’t have a carrying handle. However, this crate doesn’t fold as flat as I expected. It’s about 8 inches deep when folded up. That’s because the support poles are pretty sturdy and don’t allow it to collapse all the way. They do have a convenient toggle to lock/unlock the poles for ease of collapsing the crate though. That is a nice touch.The crate seems great for travel, but only if your dog doesn’t try to escape. The fabric walls seem to be sturdy, but I imagine dog toenails could rip through the mesh pretty easily.Speaking of mesh, the mesh doors zip open and closed like a tent. If you want to get the door to stay open, you can roll it up and Velcro it open. This would be great if my dog wasn’t terrified of Velcro for some reason.Overall, this crate seems really well made and is very convenient. It feels like a little camping tent for dogs.

Well made and fairly easy to assemble
I waited for weeks to assemble this as I feared it would be tricky. When I finally got to it, the entire construction process took about 15 minutes. It was surprisingly easy to construct the 4 piece top and bottom frames (2 parts each) with the 8 side bars. I got confused a few times as to which was which but the pets are well marked with stickers saying âtop 1,â â top 2,â âbottom 1,â etc. The instruction booklet did not have perfect English but got the point across. It was easy to learn how to collapse the frame, which is necessary to fit it into the cover during assembly. I had a hard time getting the corners to line up, and thought I broke something while positioning it, but alas it all worked out! When finished I snapped the 4 hooks to the poles to hold it in place. I donât like how the frame is exposed and there is the clip on a cord for leash attachment. I feel like even my older dog will be tempted to chew this. All said, the crate is well designed, well made, lightweight and moderately sturdy which is what I desired. I have a heavy, top brand large crate that I bring to agility trials when the dog will be left alone unattended for periods of time. That crate is horribly heavy to carry though. I wanted a lighter, smaller crate to bring to class when the dog is crated but Iâm right there. This is perfect for that. The zippered sides and pouch mimic the high end crate. This is nowhere near as sturdy, and I wouldnât use it for containment if I wasnât there. However, I have a smaller dog who is afraid of metal crates, and I wanted to use this to train her to go in a crate. I left all the sides unzipped, put a comfy piece of foam and fuzzy blanket inside, and threw treats in. She went right in, whereas with the metal crates she wonât even try. The quilted pad that comes with this is small and very thin. It doesnât cover the edges where the frame shows inside, so adding a pad/blanket helps. This crate is very good for training, as all the sides and top can be left open which helps with anxiety about feeling trapped. I am leaving it next to the dog beds to see if someone will choose to sleep in it unzipped to help with the trainingof our littler dog. I feel itâs important to have crates for the dogs, and have them crate trained, in case of emergencies.Iâm not sure itâs that much less to buy this brand than a similarly sized top brand name folding crate, but this is definitely well made, and lighter, for the price. Itâs a very good size for my 30 pound dog but would be a bit small for my 45 pound dog for longer times, though fine for agility class. I like that the whole cover could easily be removed for washing!
