Excellent control when walking pet
Cannot stand when dog owners have multiple dogs on 6 foot leashes & cannot be bothered to pull them close when passing others. The ability 2 quickly grab a 3 foot hold makes walking much easier than wrapping leash around hand. Highly recommend all dog owners invest in these type leashes and respect others space. Sturdy construction. 2 rings to tie poop bags on or adjust leash to a size other than 3 or 6 feet.

The two grips at different lengths are very handy when passing other folks on the sidewalks, or weaving around obstacles. These are very sturdy. We used one for years and just bought another as a backup in case we lose one.

My favorite go to leash for my small pup
Yes I have a pup that is now about 12 lbs and this is my favorite leash. Some go omg itâs so heavy but the dog doesnât lift it so??? I have carpal tunnel and trigger fingers etc and I drape the padded handle on my wrist and gently hold the leash part. Itâs the most comfortable with my hands. I also love the lower handle. She has the length to go down the stairs but the shorter length if I want her by my side in the parking lot or a tight situation. For me the only awkward part may be the clip is bulkier. So if your small dog harness loop is on the smaller side it may be more of a challenge to clip. Usually large dogs use this leash. I looked up why large dogs get wider leashes and it is so they canât snap apart the leash when they tug. Well my pup looks like she is pulling a sleigh and is a jumper so I thought why not? Plus her cousins are larger dogs so if they visited and needed a leash they could use it too. I love the larger padded size especially with my hand issues.

Great leash for country roads
I have used this leash several times with my 75 lb black lab and I love it! I have 15 different leashes, but I love this one because when I walk on roads without sidewalks, I can easily keep my dog close to my side using the second hand loop. It works great without hurting my hand.

High build quality, with some nice features but also some design flaws
Only been using it for a few days but have some thoughts to share already. This leash feels like quality: thick, heavy, good stitching, padded handles, reflective, two handles. It’s a lot of features for not a lot of money. I find myself using the second handle a lot because my dog is a puller. I have a thin, long, leash that I’ve been using for a long time, and switching over to this 5ft x 1in leash has made my walks more comfortable as my dog is 50 pounds of muscle. 5ft is a good length without having to wrestle with any extra leash.However, a few potential downsides but these are subjective. Still not sure how I feel about the weight. It’s a double layer leash and the clasp is heavy as well. So either you think of it as heavy duty or just heavy; but I think I actually do like the weight and am getting more and more used to it. I feel the tag they put on is unnecessary. Obviously this is a white-labeled product, nobody cares about the brand. It’s a thick plastic tag sewn on at the bottom of the top handle and can easily cause “rope burn”. The leash is mostly very smooth but with this thick hard plastic tag on there, you’re at risk of hurting yourself. Luckily, I think it can be cut off, which is what I’m going to try to do. Just hoping there isn’t also glue. Lastly while the padded handles are comfortable and smooth, the inner material of the handles feels slippery. The intention was probably to prevent rope burn but maybe once it’s broken in, it won’t feel so slippery. I think 1inch thickness is just a tad too thick for me.Not a huge deal, but I’d prefer a deeper more true blue tone than the light blue I bought.

Very durable
I got this leash for my great Pyrenees who is about 110 pounds and ripped her Kong one. I didnât wanna spend the money on another Kong, but wanted to try and find something that would match its strength. I went out on a limb and bought this one. A little different than a lot of similar leashes, in a good way
This leash is super well-made. The traffic handle is a little farther away from the clip than a lot of others, which I like because you can walk your dog while holding it. It is also a 5 foot leash, which is just a little shorter than a lot of leashes with traffic handles. I was looking for a leash that I could use more easily in public, like walking through crowded spaces and have my dog close to me or give her more freedom when thereâs space. Itâs great for that. The handle padding is soft and not awkwardly thick in your hand. Also the reflective stitching is very bright, which is nice. Itâs a nice true red, and the clip is good quality
