Great for herding dogs
Definitely worth buying so far, if you’re looking for a stronger and sturdier leash. I’ve purchased 2 previously ones in green and beige for my aussie and a shepherd collie. Since then I’ve purchased 2 more in black and purple for my other border collies. I have sets of herding dogs that needed more controls at times and these leashes look more promising than many other ones I’ve used before. My tall partner adores the leash as he likes how much easier for him to reach the bottom handle when needing more controls of the dogs during walks. Overall, the leashes have been very suitable in terms of comfort, length and the reflectiveness.

Love this leash!
Sturdy, comfortable and easy to use! The clip is very secure and does not disconnect. The bungee strap feature is nice and allows the dog a little extra give and take with the leash. Very well constructed and great value for the money. This size leash works well for our 20 lb. dog.

Keeps my Pomsky on the leash. Even when he wants to tug and run thereâs a good amount of pull for him to work out his energy and for me to hold on to him. It definitely feels more secure. Definitely worth the price.

Love the leash but had to slightly modify it for harness use, and it is fraying in less than a month
I have a 13 lb rescue poodle mix who pulls like a Siberian Husky. I had originally gotten a Carhartt leash with the bungee section, but it arrived broken and frayed. I saw this one for $10 less and I got this instead. My issue is that the little guy wears a harness where you have to join 2 D loops inside the black mechanism. It’s doable but it is a pain in the neck. I finally decided to get a swivel eye snap, put it in between the two arms of the black mechanism, and zip tie it shut so it can’t open by accident. Works like a charm. I’m also disappointed to see that the bungee area is fraying. I haven’t even had this leash a full month. I love the way it is weighted. I can tell exactly where he is without having to watch him every second, as I have to in a regular leash, having almost tripped over him several times. It is highly reflective at night, which is great. I also like the seat belt attachment with the loop over it, which I use to attach full poop bags. The bungee is effective. If he starts pulling, he feels the weight but doesn’t choke himself and it stops him without hurting him. Would I buy it again? Yes. But I would make the same change on the attachment and just hope it doesn’t fray as quickly.
