I purchased this for my puppy who has a little problem with dept perception (and listeningð), to safely reach my high bed. Unfortunately, the ramp wasnât high enough. It was easy to put together and adjust the height. It was also super sturdy. I strongly recommend it!The company responded to my return request right away and made the return process so convenient.

Well-built; Folds up like a suitcase; a little too narrow for my spoiled pups
My three “pups” are 16-25 lbs (two are dachshunds):This Item is quite narrow vs other ramps so my pups (who are used to a wider/longer ramp) often tend to avoid it and rather jump alongside (so I have to block it on at least one side as the other has rails); and the pups weren’t accustomed to raised slats. My one little doxie likes to slide his butt on his smooth ramp so maybe the slats are a good idea – lol. Also, this new heavy metal ramp moves/slides on smooth flooring and there is little surface to attach something “resistant/sticky” on bottom edges. On a more positive note, it is clever the way it folds into a “suitcase” type shape with a handle for carrying. No matter my personal concerns, it is a well-built functional ramp for small dogs (my opinion under 25 lbs appx.) FYI The reason I bought this shorter ramp in order to save floor space in front of furniture. It serves its purpose for me in that regard.

Perfect for what I use it for
Isnât slippery, sturdy, ease to move, folding is easy, length adjusts and isnât too heavy. I have two dogs, Blue Heeler/Norwegian Elk hound with spine issues, sometimes his mobility isnât working properly for him so this ramp works great getting into our car, a Charger, and getting out. You can adjust the height to wear the ramp meets the edge of the seat. Dog just climbs onto seat. My other dog is an American Staffordshire, German Shepherd, Leopard Catahoula and Boxer, sheâs taller and weighs more than my other dog. Easy for her to walk up ramp onto the seat. I have a different ramp I use for our Ram Truck. I like the fact that this ramp folds into a suitcase.

Its ok
It doesn’t stay propped open and tends to collapse. I’m not sure if I’m using it right (it seems like I am) or if it is a bad design flaw. However, I only need it when the pups need some comfort due to thunder, so it dosen’t get used much. I wouldn’t buy it again.

False load capacity
We bought this based on the 110lb load capacity. Our 70 lb dog climbing on it to get to the couch made the latches split open and almost got hurt.

Elderly dog friendly
I have 4 small dogs- chihuahuas and dachshunds. 1 of my dachshunds is very old and was having trouble with the old ramp that only had the fabric on the surface. He would attempt to walk up and then slide right back down and the ramp wasnât as steep as it could have been. This ramp is so much better because it has raised areas every so many inches and he has yet to slide backwards down this ramp. Goes right up the first time, every time. This one is also built to last because itâs metal, instead of wood, and has 2 small railings to keep him from accidentally falling off the side. I havenât had to use the folding feature but I can see how that would be beneficial if the ramp is moved frequently. I highly recommend, especially for the money!
