The perfect ramp for heavier dogs (or for lots of little dogs)
This is a heavy-duty ramp. The specs on Amazon state that is can support up to 250 pounds without bending, and I believe it. If you have a medium to large size dog, letâs say 25 pounds or more, and if you donât want to risk injury to your dog when she jumps (or tries to jump) into or out of your vehicle, I donât think you could ask for a better ramp than this one. A lot of thought went into the design, the way it folds, the carrying handles (one on the ramp itself when itâs folded, and one on the tote bag), the rubber feet (shaped differently depending on top or bottom of ramp), the textured and durable rug surface, the reflective stripes, and the aluminum construction for a great strength-to-weight ratio. And if you have multiple smaller dogs, they could happily and safely run up and down this ramp all day long. However, if you only have one (or maybe two) smaller dogs, letâs say 15 pounds each, and youâre already in the habit of lifting them into or out of your vehicle, and youâre hoping this ramp might save your back from that relatively small amount of bending and lifting, then you will possibly find little relief due to the necessary folding/unfolding and maneuvering and storing of this thirteen-pound ramp, and youâll go back to just lifting her into the vehicle yourself.I still have to give this ramp five stars because itâs just too perfect for heavier dogs, for keeping them safe and healthy without your needing to lift them. Itâs beautifully designed.

Very sturdy…unfold it and you’re good to go
This is a outstanding dog ramp, it’s sturdy, well constructed, and is ready to go right out of the box by just unfolding it. It comes with a sturdy cloth bag, with handles, so after using it, fold the ramp back up, and store it until next time. Here’s the thing, I don’t own a dog. But, I have issues with getting heavy items out of the back of my SUV and just as difficult, up steps to the house…that is why I ordered this ramp. No longer do I have to wait for someone stronger to remove heavy items for me, I can use this ramp like I did this morning. Returning home from the store where the kind rep carried out my new mini-refrigerator to my SUV for me, I slid the heavy box down the ramp. Then I repositioned the ramp over the steps and slid the box up to the porch. And I did it myself, no help needed. So, while I can see how wonderful this ramp would be for Rover, thinking outside of the box, this ramp gave me back my independence.

Excellent quality but heavy
My elderly dog is not supposed to be jumping on furniture or into the car.I got this ramp to assist him with getting into my SUV. He did great with it. I planned to leave it in my vehicle until he needed it again, but it is quite heavy & bulky. I set it up inside so he could get up on the bed and he did….but he jumped off the other side of the bed and that is what we’re trying to avoid. Now I’m just back to preventing him from jumping on furniture. I’m keeping the ramp in the garage to use to assist him getting into & out of the car.

Lightweight dog ramp for larger dogs or people who need help
I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS DOG RAMP!! I had another one but it is so heavy that it almost defeated the purpose. This is a very lightweight, nonslip dog ramp that is 63âLx17âW. My dog had no issues learning how to use it because it was wide enough for him to feel comfortable and not scared one bit. Being an easy to fold ramp, I keep it stored behind the front passenger seat of my car. My dog has a dog seat on the passenger seat so itâs right behind him. You donât even need to use this for your car. This is nice enough to have it in your home to use on your couch, bed, outdoor furniture, for older pets who may need a helping hand or for people like me with back problems. Having this ramp truly helps my back. The lightest ramp Iâve seen and itâs made just as good or better than something that might cost hundreds of dollars to buy. Donât waste your money when this is a superb item. My dog is only 2, but when he gets older and needs more help inside of the house, this is the ramp that Iâll be buying a second one of for him. Itâs not too steep that heâs scared of it and he doesnât slip at all. I have full confidence in the functionality of this expensive looking but very affordable dog ramp!

Sturdy and safe ramp for a very large dog who tends to be timid about climbing into jeep. Even with a steeper incline offeres secure footing and stability. Easy to move around and hose off if needed. Folds up conveniently. Good purchase.

Help the dog and save your back.
This is a nice unit. It folds/unfolds easily and is quite sturdy. The ramp is non-slip. At 13.5 lbs. , it is light enough to be moved/stored easily. In the included storage bag, it would fit easily behind a front seat. The ramp easily attaches to trunk in back of a vehicle. I was hoping to use it to help Max, our supermutt, get into the back seat of of my wife’s SUV also, but unfortunately the door doesn’t open wide enough for it to fit. Max, our larger dog (80 lbs.) , is fully capable of hopping into the back of the SUV when he wants to, but mostly refuses and I have to lift him in by putting his front feet up on the seat and then lifting his rear. I got this more for the sake of my back than for the dogs, although I’m sure as we both age it may become a necessity at some point.
