Nice dog ramp, could be wider
Very nice dog ramp, easy to use and carry. great texture on the ramp makes it comfortable on the animals feet and gives them grip getting up the ramp, my dog took a few tries to get up and use the ramp but it was not as wide as expected and needed as my dog it a bit larger and a few times his feet slid off to the side. it folds us into 4 sections and then it gives you access to the carry handle, it also have a tether cable and hook to use if needed to keep the ramp from sliding off the back of the vehicle. it has rubber feet on both ends to give a good secure fit on the ground and bumper also. Very nice just wish it was wider, may look for another model that is a bit wider.

Must Need for Senior Dogs
I have a senior chocolate lab that has trouble going up and downstairs since he had surgery for a torn ACL on his back leg. He is unable to get on our bed so we have wood stairs for him. I got this ramp, hoping that it might work out better for him to be able to just walk up the ramp instead of stairs, but it is not going to work. It was worth a try though. I will be using this in our garage for him to go up the stairs to come into the house and go down the stairs to go outside. We have a similar ramp that we use for him to go in and out of our truck and he has no problems with it. With this ramp folding up the way it does it takes up little footprint in our vehicle. It doesnât have any straps to lock it close so I will put it back in the box when not using it so it stays together. It is very easy to unfold and to fold back up. Once you have it folded up, there is a handle on one in to carry it by which makes it convenient since it does have some weight to it. my lab is 110 pounds and it does not bow down or show any stress when he walked up or down it. This is a must have for anyone with a senior dog. Especially when you have larger dogs that you canât pick up and carry or put in vehicles anymore this makes it more convenient for them and yourself. Itâs also a safer way for them to get in and out of vehicles. It does have a clip on one in so if you are putting them in your patch of your SUV, it can clip onto the bolt there. Since we put him in our cab of our truck, I have nothing to clip it to, but it didnât move when I tried it out with him.

For your pet’s health
I have had dogs my entire life. Usually, we just let them jump in and out of the Jeep. The dogs love doing it but my last dog suffered a back injury jumping out of my Jeep. The vet told me that jumping off of furniture and jumping out of vehicles is the number one cause of back injuries in dogs. So, now, my dogs won’t jump out of the Jeep on their own and they actually wait, though impatiently, for me to lift them out, one at a time. But now, I have arthritis in my back and can’t lift them out as easily. That is why I bought this awesome ramp!Likes: – it has a carpeted surface that provides grip for your pets’ piggies – it’s wide enough and strong enough for large dogs – it’s long so the ramp angle won’t be so steep coming out of your vehicle – It folds up in a few seconds and has a carry handle built into it. It is heavy though.Use:I have 3 dogs: Nemo (7 lbs), Keya (22 lbs), and Valkyrie (65 lbs). Valkyrie and Nemo have no troubles whatsoever walking up and down the ramp, assisted or unassisted. But Keya is disabled and she requires assistance to walk up and down this ramp. I say this because I want to temper your expectations.I highly recommend this product for your perfectly healthy pets as well as your disabled pets. However, if you have a disabled pet, they will likely still require assistance despite how wide this ramp is. But with your supervision, this ramp can dramatically improve their ability to move around your house or in and out of your vehicles.5 stars.

Seems to be an excellent ramp that folds and unfolds easily
We’re dog folks, and my wife is an agility trainer. She’s very careful of getting dogs in and out of the car, because even if they think they can safely jump in and out, they aren’t always right… and if you don’t ramp-train your dogs they could someday hang themselves by jumping out of a car with a safety restraint line still on them. Plus, as dogs get older it’s good to have them ramp-trained so they don’t over-stress their joints. We’ve had another ramp, but recently got my wife a newer used car which is a bit higher off the ground in the back entry than the old “baby car” civic hatchback, meaning that the existing smaller ramp would be at a fairly steep angle. This one is long enough and strong enough that it seems very safe, and the sturdy carpeted footing means it’s unlikely a dog would slip off it. I’ve walked up it myself and I’m perilously close to 210lb right now, so I tend to believe the 250lb rating. My wife is just a 100-lb critter but she has no trouble folding and unfolding it. It’s got some heft to it but my wife can lift it fine. For the decent quality, I’d say the price is reasonable, and it’s quite storable when folded. We’ll revisit this review if our opinion changes or we have more input, but for now we rate this excellent and a 5 out of 5.
