    *almost* perfect
This ramp is so great. One of our dogs has arthritis that has gotten pretty bad in the last few months. There are about 6 stairs going in/out of our house, and he was struggling with them. He kept falling, so we decided to try putting a ramp there for him. This is perfect. It is narrow enough we can leave it up along one side of the stairs and still easily come and go past it, but it’s also light enough that we can easily move it out of the way if needed. The gray rubbery, cushion grip down the middle of the ramp is fantastic. It doesn’t get slippery when it is wet, which is important since we are using it for coming in from walks and potty breaks and we get a lot of rain and snow. It also reduces the impact on his joints over a hard plastic one. We have a plastic one that we bought a couple of years ago for our vehicle, and this one is SO much better. Our other one has a sandpaper type of grip on it, which provides very little traction, but it is very easy to snag on clothes, scratch the vehicle, or tear open a knuckle when you bump into it. This one is also WAY lighter than our plastic one and easier to move around because it folds smaller. The rubber grips on the feet are nice too so it won’t scratch up the bumper paint, and the bottom doesn’t slide around on the ground as much. This thing is very sturdy, our super nervous doggo feels comfortable using it. Our only two suggestions for improvement would be making the security strap longer so that it could be adjusted to secure on something more than 2 inches away, and adding some kind of grip to the metal strips along the side (or making the grip panel wider so it goes closer to the edges.) When our dog’s arthritis is really bad he kind of walks with his feet wider, and sometimes he will hit the metal strip and slip. We had some black rubber grip tape here already, so my husband cut it into strips and put it over the metal which worked great for us, but if it came like that already it would have been even better. Overall, highly recommend. We will likely purchase another one at some point to keep one in the car and one in the house and get rid of the huge clunky plastic one we have.

    Sturdy ramp with good grip
Having an aging Akita who is having trouble jumping into the back of our SUV now, we needed to find a good ramp that would help him get in and out. This one has a nice tread pattern that he can navigate without slipping. It’s plenty sturdy to hold him up, and the clip and rubber feet give us peace of mind that he is safe when on the ramp. While he still prefers to jump out than to walk down it, this has been a very important tool to assist with getting him to vet appointments without trying to pick him up and putting him in the vehicle. Plus if folds down to a nice size that doesn’t take up too much room and that makes it easy to keep in the car.Highly recommend this one to anyone needing a quality ramp for their pets.

Great Product, beware the quick fold
We have two German shepherd dogs. One is getting older and one is a puppy so we had a desire for a ramp for both so that we were not lifting them. The surface, functionality, length, sturdiness, and design seems great overall. We have a Cheve truck extended cab and a Jeep Wrangler. The ramp works well for the truck both in the cab as well as the truck bed. The back seat door in the Jeep is not wide enough to lay this flat so only can be used with rear entry. First time you use it be careful when opening and closing. The hinges are not set tight so it can quickly close on your fingers if you are not careful. PS it doesn’t feel good to smash your fingers 🙂 not sure if the tension can be adjusted but doesn’t seem like it. Product has a great carry handle but is fairly heavy.

    Exactly what we needed!
This is a really nice ramp! I’ve never had to get one of these before, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I have a GSD who weighs about 130 lbs and he hurt his foot and has been afraid to jump into my SUV, but didn’t want to miss his daily walks. While he’s still not totally comfortable with the ramp, he’s getting used to it. The material is a great anti-slip rubber that looks like it will be easy to clean. I like the clip that secures the ramp to the car because my dog is too big for me to otherwise secure it. It’s sturdy but not too heavy. The length of the ramp makes it not too steep of an angle for my MDX.

Very easy to use and holds up well
My aging 90 pound dogs needed help to get in our truck and this is perfect. I use it regularly for over 4 months and still looks and works like new. I did have to coax them to use it by placing it by their favorite chair in the house. After a few days use inside they had no issues using it for the truck bed and back seat.

    Too steep
I bought it for my Great Dane with hip issues so she can load into my SUV easily. Problem is, because of house steep it is, she can’t use it. Defeats the purpose I purchased it for. Now, the quality and construction is nice. It seems very secure and heavy duty. Wish it would have worked for us.

    Worth the money
Super easy to fold/unfold and works great for both my 67lb and 90lb GSDs!I have a hyundai Tucson so it doesn’t fit exactly great using the side door, but fits enough that my dogs can still use it to get into the backseat. It also has 2 anchor points to prevent it from moving while in use and a grippy surface to help dogs from slipping.A little bulky to store but has a handle for ease of carrying

  8. Robin

    Sturdy
Sturdy and easy to attach to my SUV. Dogs have adjusted to it. Love the fold up design for easy transportation and storage.
