How to training your dog to use this dog ramp for car?
Many pets are scared when trying something new. Its important to get your dog comfortable with the ramp before he can trust to climb it.
Most dogs are food enthusiast,so treats are going to be your best option to get your dog to try something new.
First, please place your ramp on a flat surface . Then place treats around the ramp. This helps your dog become comfortable with the ramp. We want them to get used to the texture on their paws. Use treats to encourage your dog to place paws on the ramp. Allow the dog to do it at their own pace. Refrain from picking the dog up and placing it on the ramp. Be sure to give lots of praise and treats as they get used to walking back and forth on the ramp. Once the dog is comfortable with the ramp, adjust it to its upright position. Continue to give treats as motivation for your dogs.
With the dog on the car, call the dog and they should use the easiest and most convenient route, which is down the ramp and towards you.
Once the dog is using the ramp reliably, you can move further away and continue.
Remember to give lots of praise and before long your dog will be able to climb the ramp on it own.

Good ramp, use it within specified weight limit
I was skeptical that it’d bend and bow in the middle, but when I got it I was glad to see it held up well even under weight (listing says 250 pounds, I only needed it for 200). I didn’t get this for animals though, I’ve been using it as a collapsible loading ramp for the car and around the house. It’s a little narrow for hand trucks but works in a pinch, and if I ever have a need I’d probably just get a 2nd ramp for the extra width.

Useful tool for pet owners.
This is a substantial ramp presumably for assisting dogs to access the back of your SUV. It is well made and fairly easy to use. It unfolds from its compact form into the ramp linking 4 sections by their hinges. I like the safety carabiner that snaps onto the tailgate latch to secure the ramp. The ramp does have a little weight to it to allow the dogs to feel secure with stable footing. Iâm having a little trouble with my dogs accessing through the ramp as they are very wary. I think that is an idiosyncratic reaction to them as logically I can see it as an attractive and useful tool for them. Iâll continue exposing them to it and add some treats to encourage its use. Without the ramp you are forced to lift your dogs into the back or risk a missed jump from the dog that can prove injurious to you and/or the dog.

Takes some training. Too steep for my car.
We got this dog ramp from RUSHANPEACE because my 14 year old dog is starting to have trouble getting up and down the stairs (or into my SUV). He was very hesitant to use them at first, so I had to use lots of treats to get him to use it. He’ll use it about 50% of the time, mostly when we come back to the house after a long walk. It doesn’t really work for the car, though, because it’s too steep. His back legs aren’t strong enough to walk all the way up at that angle. I did get the 63″ one, so maybe he 71″ would work better?

Very sturdy, easy to transport, assemble, and store.
Very sturdy ramp, nice all weather carpet style tread, steel frame very sturdy. Cleverly folds up to carry, suitcase style. May be a bit heavy for some, but it’s an option. I was hoping it might be wide enough to use for utility cart & similar shelving on wheels equipment. It would have to be on the slim side for that, as that’s not what it’s really made for. But I will use it for taking some sizable equipment down a few stairs on a short stoop or tall curb, by using a hand truck, that will fit no problem, it’s built like a brick house. For pets or help with those challenged by stairs, easy peasy.

Great dog ramp so far!
This ramp is sturdy and folds up to a decent size. It even has a handle on the top that you can grab and carry it around by it when itâs folded up. The carpet and the texture on the front of it are nice. Unfolds easily as well. I expected this to be heavier than it is and I think it is a good weight. Good enough weight to stay stable but not too heavy to carry around. I think it is great for medium sized dogs. Both of my dogs are about 40 to 50 pounds.

Best dog ramp yet
I have ordered two or three of these in the past couple of months trying to find a good one. So far, this is the best one I found and I think I don’t need to look any further. The thing I like about this one is that it’s a little longer than most which diminishes the angle of incline for the dogs to walk up into my truck and it b

Doggie ramp into truck
If your rear auto door is not wide enough it will not fit the ramp

Slippery fabric for my 70lbs dog but yet Strong built and versatile.
It takes patience to train them to trust the ramp but with determination it will work. I have an old Alaskan Malamute 70lbs. The ramp is well built and I love that I can fold and carry around as it is light. It does not work for taller cars, if the setting is too steep it defeats the whole purpose of getting it for an elder dog. My dog is having hard time going up and down the ramp as the fabric is slippery for him, maybe he is too heavy for that however I assist him and that partially solves the problem. If the fabric provided a better track for my dog I would have given a higher rating but other than that I like it.
