It’s big.
I got the x-large. Its 5×5′. I can get in this thing, bend my knees and sleep if I wanted. It’s super easy to set up, took a slight push to pop out the folded sides. It’s light, fits through a bedroom door on its side with a little push pull. I would say this is okay for a german shepard, not a mastif sized dog, unless they just laying down. If your dog can easy put their head on a counter the x-large probably won’t be tall enough.I purchased for an 8 week old kitten. I wanted enough room to put full sized litter pan, bed, water, and dry food. My intent is to use as a playpen for when we are not present to watch and bedtimes. I purchased as a temporary thing, but I think it might come in handy throughout the years, if it holds together. Everything fits and I still have enough room to crawl in and comfort or play with kitty until he settles. I like the fact that the top zips, allowing me to take things in and out easily without having to crawl in.My future idea is to use this as a safe space, visiting family, or outside when kitty can’t be inside for heavy cleaning or bug spray days. The material is decent, a medium-weight canvas bottom that has a plastic adhered to one side, and I think spilled water would be easy to clean up.The mesh has held up to kitty claws, so far, and he’s climbed the walls a few times now. It is pretty sturdy, for its size, and doesn’t collapse. Now, if I had a german shepherd size dog and he wanted out, I’d say he could probably turn this on its side or shred the mesh if given enough time.So far, I’m happy with it. I have noticed the zippers aren’t as heavy duty as I’d like and I suspect they probably won’t hold up as long as I’d like. Already on the main side door with the logo, I’ve noticed a hard spot where the zipper catches, and maybe it’s just from kitty trying to get out, but I can’t tell honestly.This is great so far as a temporary enclosure and I’ll probably update when some time has passed and kitty has gotten bigger.

Love this playpen
I originally purchased this for my about to be 1 year old Boston Terrier for when I go back to work. I wanted her to have something bigger than her cage to have room to play and stretch since she will be in there all day. She likes it for play and pleasure but donât like to be in there when I leave the house. Itâs made very durable and great material, easy to set up. I like that itâs portable and easy to fold up. I purchase the large and was surprised how big it was. It was perfect size and a good deal for the price! Made very well and the mesh is thick. The zippers are easy to unzip and sturdy! It didnât smell at all. I like that itâs easy to clean and the bottom unzips. Even though my Boston likes her cage better, this is working amazingly for my sonâs new French bulldog puppy and he loves it! I like that we can unzip the top for easy cleaning or feeding, etc. I would definitely purchase again!

The best pen
Bought this to slowly introduce my foster cat to my other cats safely, and itâs been great. Itâs a little more expensive than similar ones on here, but I guarantee that the lower priced ones are also lower quality. It took only seconds to set up, itâs super sturdy, itâs spacious, and it has held up to both her attempts to claw out and their attempts to get in and steal her food. Iâll get a lot of use out of this with future fosters and personal pets, Iâm sure!

New Pet Parent! Lesson learned. Lol
I have a 4.5# King Cavalier puppy, he’s only 9 weeks old. I bought this per recommended size chart. And the pictures are nice and all, but I just did not realize how small it is. It is a very nice product! Material is strong, durable. I like how both the bottom & top can unzip for easy cleaning! However, me being new to Amazon, I threw away all labeling & broke down the box. So I can’t return it! I bought the small one according to my puppy’s size, but did not realize how small the playpen actually is. Ugh! Lesson learned!! Lol I really should have bought the Medium size. I mean my lil pup when standing, can already practically jump out the top. (Yes, I know there’s a zipper screen top. And yes, I know the pic showed dimensions. But I’m a visual person. Lol). I guess, I expected it to be bigger! So, now I need to try and sell this smaller one myself, and repurchase a bigger one.

My cat finally made some damage to the one I was using, I checked with my amazon history and found I ordered it almost 6 years ago. After almost 5 years used almost every day year round, stored in the garage but occasionally left out overnight, the sun had finally damaged the fabric and it became easy to tear through. In hind site I probably should have replace this a year or two ago I just didn’t realize it had decayed that much. The zippers held together just fine over all that time without any issue. My cat with claws could pull on the screen material but never once made a hole in it. I can’t believe how well this held up. So once it came time to replace I looked around for one with as close to identical design as I could find (the “brand” of pen bought was no longer available). I found this one and I ado believe the construction is the same as the previous one. I’ve had this for two weeks now and I believe I have received the same high quality I had previously. I am extremely happy with this product. My cat absolutely loves being able to be outside in fresh air even in winter. He is well secured in this but can easily watch the rabbits, squirrels and birds. I don’t worry about him interacting with any other animals, he does occasionally lunge at an animal coming too close but he is secure in this pen so never actually comes in contact and this never acquires fleas. He also is protected from the sort so I don’t worry about any worms or any health issues. My current cat has grown up with this in his life and I would never deprive him of it. 100% satisfied.
