1 year later – we still love this harness
Both I and my pup are extremely particular about dog harnesses lol. So I waited a year to write a review on this to see about wear. This is a long one – but I hope itâs helpful. Also adding a bunch of photos so you can see fit!Davey (the cutie in all the pics I added lol) is my rescue dog who was basically feral 10.5 years ago and therefore, he has some quirks lol.- the biggest being no harnesses that go over his head. So a step-in was a must.- the sound of metal scares him so as little metal as possible was good for us (just the D rings are metal – which is good).- Quick process of putting it on is also important for Davey. He gets very nervous putting his gear on for walks and if I have to sit there and tighten buckles and such for several minutes – he will freak out and either have an accident or try to run away from the harness. This is a breeze to put on for both of us.I, being the owner of a former feral pup, have some requirements of my own lol.- the metal D rings because Davey does sometimes pull (not often, but if he sees a pigeon or a squirrel itâs gonna happen) – and these make me feel much safer than plastic for him not being able to snap the harness open or have it detach from the leash (which I had happen once with a different harness while in a massive state park and was very grateful another hiker was only a few paces in front of me and blocked him from running off).- Fit is extremely important so Davey doesnât Houdini out of his harness (admittedly he hasnât done this in several years thankfully, but he used to do it constantly. He even got out of the Goobi no escape harness).Davey is a jack russell terrier mini poodle mix to the best of mine and his vetâs guess. He is considered a small/medium sized dog at about 20lbs (he wears a large in this harness btw). So he has a sort of long but still stout in the chest shape that is really hard to find things that fit him. On top of that we have the âfur issueâ lol. The main reason I added so many pictures is for anyone else with a dog like Davey – this harness is perfect for no matter their fur level. Daveyâs curls grow insanely quickly. So I need a harness that can work around that when heâs fluffy. But also one that will fit him when he is shaved down for the summer (heâs single coated so it is actually good for us to shave him down cause his fur is actually hair and will not help cool him). I even added a picture of him from December where he is *extremely* fluffy (I got the flu and then his groomer closed and the new one had a month wait so he was very overgrown) and this harness still fit.I love the fabric (the dinos are very very cute) because it isnât too slippy, but isnât rough also. It feels a little squishy almost – not like itâs heavily padded, but like itâs a neoprene material that is a tiny bit spongy – which I like because itâs comfy for him but also because itâs weatherproof (we live in the Midwest lol – rain is a thing we have to contend with regularly). It dries very quickly when it gets wet – like just hanging it on itâs hook, itâs dry or close by our next walk. The stitching is well done throughout and we havenât had any issues of the harness falling apart even with basically multiple daily use for a year in all seasons. My *only* caveat here is sort of a double edged sword. The reason this harness works so well for Davey is because of the Velcro. I can pull it in when heâs got less fur or leave it less tight when heâs fluffy. Itâs comfy for him to wear and goes on in a jiffy. But because I tighten the Velcro – the inside of the material in that area is fraying. Not in a way that lessens the effectiveness of the actual harness, but in a way that doesnât look as nice when I donât need to tighten it so much. I do worry over time that this could wear down the stitching in this area. And the Velcro has worn down a bit to where it doesnât feel as âstickyâ. It is still connecting securely, but the top edge does lift a bit more than it did when we first got it.Another note I will mention is the fabric that connects the buckle to the harness is just fabric. Itâs well stitched and we havenât had an issue with it – but I have noticed it seems to have stretched out a little bit over this year. Not a deal breaker since it doesnât hinder use – but worth noting if you have a big puller that this might not be a good fit (also highly recommend a bungee style leash for pulling – weâve used one for 6+ years and itâs taught Davey not to pull and when he does, my arm isnât yanked around and he doesnât damage his throat because it just bounces him back – which is also kinda funny lol).I tried to add a bunch of pictures of Davey at various levels of fluff lol and also various positions. He is an energetic bouncy curious dog even as a senior now – so he puts his gear through their paces. You can see when he lays down, the harness does bunch a little near his shoulder. I think potentially if this harness was a tiny bit longer in the chest, this wouldnât happen. However, this didnât cause any issue for us – the minute he stood up or sat, it went right back to being flat and flush to his body.I am probably going to purchase a new one – of this exact harness – just because of the Velcro being less âstickyâ. If it were only me walking him I would be less worried, but I have trips coming up and friends will be watching him for me and I want to ensure the harness is in tip top shape (because I am a helicopter dog mom lol). Overall, I adore this harness both for my comfort in keeping my best guy safe, and for his own comfort in meeting his needs.

Awesome harness
Bought this xs harness for my four month puppy. The color was exactly as the picture shown and true to size. I love how easy it is to use . The quality is awesome, she is very safe and secure while wearing it. She seems very comfy in it. Loved it so much I just bought size medium as she has grown!

Very easy harness to put on your dog.
My small dog is very difficult to fit for a harness. This harness fits her perfectly. It is very well made and she will not be able to step out of it. It has a heavy duty clip and the rings are not tiny but substantial. This harness will last a long time.

Adorable print, comfie and cute!
So cute and comfortable, love the shade of green and it’s soft and durable. My only concern is that it could be a touch longer on the torso, seems a but short. Other than that, super cute!

Worth the price
I was really wanting a cute harness for my boy dog that wasnât too girly, but not just a boring color either. This dinosaur harness was PERFECT and had the cutest pattern on it. I was concerned about the size because we had a different one that was too big for him, but we got a size small and it fit him perfect. He is a 10 pound maltipoo. The harness itself isnât very adjustable which is why itâs important to get the right size. It was a little more than I wanted to spend on a harness but was worth the price to get what I wanted. I also love that it is a step-in harness and has both Velcro and buckle. A lot easier to put on than the ones that go over the head. Highly recommend!

100% WORTH ITð
If you have an excited puppy like me, you NEED this harness! I was gifted an XS sized Downtown Pet Supply harness when I first got my dog (who is a Schipperke), and loved it SO much, but she clearly grew out of it. The first 2 pictures are her in the XS. To put the sizing into perspective, in those pictures she weighed a little over 8 pounds and it fit her perfectly, she was also almost 2 months old in those pictures. Since I loved it so much, I found the same one on Amazon and ordered it in a Medium. Again to put it into perspective, she is now 6 months and weighs 12 and a half pounds, and the Medium fits perfectly! This is the easiest harness to put together, with just the simple velcro strip and clip. She gets super hyper and jumps around, so that’s why I wanted something that was easy to put on her. It is great, thick, and comfortable material and she displays no signs of discomfort. I have never had a situation where she was able to get it off or she had it come off in general. Super affordable, cute, and protective! Won’t have her in anything else!

Could be a nice product, BUTâ¦
Nice product, size-wise could fit my maltese dog great, but it is sewn unevenly, so it fits over one arm great but the one one is crooked – see photo. There is another harness for reference. I have to return the red one because how the shape is messed up, my dog would be very uncomfortable wearing it. Also, the reflection stripes are made of very ridig material so those could rub on the dogs skin – they should be either removed completely, made of much softer material.

Very small dog
My sister has a mini dachshund that is between 7-8 lbs. his size has made it difficult as his measurements are the max for the XS. This harness fit really well. We liked the material and the ease of getting it on.

I ordered this harness for my 14 lb shih tzu and it is adorable. I usually order a small for her but I checked the size chart and got a medium. I’m glad I did. It fits very well and she seems to like it! ð

This little harness is perfect for my 12lb Chiweenie. I got her the small size and it fits great. It seems very comfortable, sturdy and well-made and I really like it. The only slight drawback is that the plastic clasp and the D rings on the back are of a fairly bulky size for the size of the harness, but they do not seem to bother my dog at all (she often wears it all day), and the closure is very secure and good quality. I think I will buy a second design from this company for another fashion option!

Just what I was looking for, quick and easy to put on and use, whilst being comfortable.

Bought this harness for my lovely neighbour’s chubby Chihuahua, Simba. His measurements were 17 1/2 inches, but got the medium. It’s a bit snug, but can still get 2 fingers underneath the harness, so not over tight. He looks so dapper in his vibrant purple harness, which is better for his neck than the collar and lead, as he is a puller on the lead. Was hard choosing which colour to get!

My dog is 19 pounds and a Shih Tzu and heâs never been above a medium but the size chart said large, and I followed it and it fits perfect. Itâs high-quality and I own one already and it has lasted six years. Durable. Excellent price. My cat is also 19 pounds but got him an extra small, because I followed the measurements. Heâs all in the stomach, but not at the chest, so take measurements and it will be a perfect fit.
