Neck buckle, excellent design, sturdy construction
This harness is fabulous. The neck closure allows you to easily put this harness on any dog, and even more important, take it off again without a battle. The lock on the neck closure is a nifty little feature. The buckles are metal and the quick-release closures are made out of heavy-duty plastic. The stitching is nice, the material is high-quality, the colors are brilliant. It stays firmly in place, with no sliding or shifting from side to side even through very athletic activities or hard pulling sideways on the leash. The bottom and top straps are long enough that the harness doesn’t ride up into the dog’s armpits and you can see that it does not impede the dog’s shoulder or neck motion. Very well designed.I have been putting it on the dogs by unhooking the two girth closures. Then you can drop it on over the dog’s head, pull it back between the front legs, and snap it quickly into place. You can harness a wildly leaping pup while it is airborne. When you get home, unsnap the neck closure and the girth closure on the same side and the harness will just drop off the dog onto the ground. No fuss or struggling.It took about 15 minutes to properly adjust each harness for each dog, but that’s a one-time thing.

Good quality
Have had this harness for a couple days so far. I have a bull terrier that is 10 months old and I bought the large size. Fits him well. Took a hot min to fully get it secured with adjusting the straps. That’s only cuz they are put together so the intention is to not budge. A different style harness I had kept getting overly loose, I won’t have the same issue here and I love that.

Sturdy but somewhat difficult to adjust
This harness is made with sturdy material, canvas straps, and plastic clasps/adjustment clips. I like the locking function on the front clasp and that the harness is adjustable to fit the size range as specified. However, it does take a good amount of effort to adjust the straps for a custom fit for safety/comfort purposes and takes a few tries to get comfortable with putting on the harness correctly. That said, my dog seemed to be comfortable in the harness and didnât mind wearing it one bit.

Fantastic Harness!
Got this to replace one my dog chewed through. This one fits well and is very heavy duty. Not easily chewed or pulled off. She must think it’s comfortable because she doesnt try to pull it off or chew through it. Has nice straps with plastic fasteners, can easily adjust it to be tighter or looser. Has a nice handle on the back in case she is off leash and I have to grab her or hold her back. Also makes it easy to lift her into the car. Its padded and rugged nice bright colors (ours is pink) and it even has bright thin reflective through out for night time walking….All around a fantastic choice!!

Fit my growin pup

Addresses Shortcomings of My Dog’s Old Harness
The main reason I wanted to get a harness like this one was because of the buckles being different than my dog’s old harness. Her old one we slide over her head and she hates that. She runs away when I try to put it on. This new one she let me put on just fine because it wasn’t going over her head, it buckles from the side. This is a huge win, and makes it worth it even with the other things I am going to point out below.The other issue we have with her old harness is it tends to slide to the side a bit. It doesn’t stay on her back and I worry about it rubbing on her if it is moving.This new one seems a little big (that would be my fault because I didn’t measure her. She’s a German Shephard). I think I tightened it all the way and it is still a little big so it slides too. There is also a gap on the bottom strap I tried to show in one of the photos because it is a little big. Even with it being a little big, I don’t think she is getting out of it, but it would have been nice to have something fit a little more snug. However, I am not 100% ruling out user error on my end ð¤£ðLove the color. I noticed some reflecting yarn/fabric which is great since she is a black dog. You can see it in the first photo. I also like the overall size of the harness is smaller / lighter (weight) than her old one. Her old harness has metal buckles which makes it heavier and I think is part of the reason it slides to the side, so I like the plastic buckles on this one as long as they hold up.The tab where I hook her leash does not seem as sturdy as her old harness, but she is not really a puller so I just hope it holds up with wear and tear.Overall, this harness is an upgrade from her old one based on my specific needs and I’m happy with it so far.
