Dogs get bored just like people. This book focuses on how to start on the journey to mentally exercising your dog. The book opens by explaining what happens when our dogs are understimulated and how.important it is to keep our dogs mentally sharp. Then the author explains some.different ways to do that. The exercises given focus on some different areas like brain games, focus, agility, etc. The game is explained in step by step how to directions. The goal is also given as well as some tips or pointers on things to look out for or take.note of. There are also 2 28 day training schedules. One is for beginners and the other for advanced training. They include 2-3 exercises or activities to do and sometimes an optional one or two as well. This book was well done.

While some games Iâm already doing, I really enjoyed the diversity of the games. Looking forward to trying them. I have a herding dog and a husky so they both need lots of mental games especially on bad weather days. I also enjoyed Part 1 discussing dog thinking and how to understand your dog.
