Need a durable and convenient top load pet carrier you can easily assemble? If so, we would like to introduce you to our Atlas two-door pet carriers. Unlike other plastic carriers on the market which require a tedious (and long!) nut & bolt assembly, the Atlas utilizes 4 latching buckles to securely assemble the dog carrier. The Atlas pet carrier features a front and top door for easy access to your pet & a strong carrying handle that folds flat while not in use. Multiple ventilation holes allow fresh air to circulate throughout the carrier keeping your pet cool and the hard-plastic shell / powder coated metal doors are easy to clean in the event of an accident. Ferplast stands behind the quality of the Atlas top load pet carrier with a 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.

Game changer
Perfect For my cat who is admittedly a couple extra pounds so she fits in the top part perfect and there’s no fight because I just pick her up and put her in there with some blankets plenty of room for her a toy and even a dish if you need one. It’s pretty good value for your money it works well. There is tons of ventilation and it’s easy to use.

Using for rabbit
This is the third carrier weâve tried for our bunny and definitely our favorite. He is a standard adult sized rabbit and he has plenty of room to stretch out in this. We love that there is a door on the side and on top. It makes it easier to check on him and put things in with him as needed. It being hard sided means that he is safe from shifting luggage/bags and the carrier will hold up to his sharp bunny teeth.

A really nice pet carrier
I wanted a carrier for some feral cats with a top that opened because it’s easier to catch them this way. I wish it was about one and a half times this size, but really it’s perfect for what I need. Putting it together might take you a while. It took me almost an hour because the instructions are only pictures, and we all know how confusing that can be. I would recommend looking closely at the pictures and the parts to figure it out. IT IS NOT INTUITIVE! I would still recommend it though, once assembled, I think you’ll like it.

Great for a variety of pets
I love this crate. The top and side openings are perfect for removing small animals. I use this for my rabbits and rats to travel to vet. Durable but the tophandle will pop off if it contains too much weight so always best to hold from the bottom as well just to be safe.

Door closures are cumbersome
I am a veterinary technician and have seen and worked with many types of carriers. The top closures and front door closures of this one are NOT easy to work with. Usually there is a spring loaded assembly for the front door and sometimes the top in other carriers . This has neither and is difficult to open and shut securely with the TABS that are used. If hadnât waited so long to put this together (and discarded the shipping material), I would have returned it without hesitation. I wonât use it and would not even donate it because I am concerned that someone not familiar with it may end up with a loose cat when trying to secure it. The rest of the carrier seems well made and size/structure is fine. If the closures were improved upon, this would be a good product. But if you canât feel secure that your pet wonât get loose or that anyone else trying to close it wonât do it correctly, itâs not worth the chance. The owner is not always present to instruct the vet staff how to close this carrier and they should not have to guess. This was not a inexpensive carrier but I guess I have to take a loss on it.

Mid-Grade, at Best, with Complicated Assembly Instructions and Cheap Plastic Parts
We do feral cat rescue; and transport cats in a variety of conditions. Plastic parts with questionable longevity lengths are used to make key connections. Likely have to insert screws or plastic ties between the top and bottom pieces, to ensure they hold. All-picture assembly instructions are disconnected; and, unnecessarily confusing….

Very good size perfect for my cat to visit her vet.

I needed a cat carrier and went for Ferplast as being seemingly a reputable make. It took me ages to put it together, firstly because of the usual puzzling diagrams and no text and secondly because when you FINALLY get one difficult to put together (really stiff!) another bit won’t work. Finally, I got most of it sorted with the use of much swearing and pliers, and found that the sliding catches for the lid absolutely wouldn’t slide shut. No WAY can this be used as anything but a waste of space. Utterly unfit for purpose. I will have to order another carrier AND get one from Pets Corner to cover myself. What absolute rubbish!

I liked the openness of the design (as did my Kittens). It was easy to put together & was perfect for taking them to their Vet Appointments. My normal size 6month old Kitten at 6.5lbs. fits but can’t sit upright now without ducking her head but my pint sized 5lb. 7month old Kitten can. I only transported 1 at a time in this carrier but when I first adopted them they did fit together. I feel this carrier is good for cats under 8lbs.

ok carrier. The front door isn’t very sturdy and might pop open. Can’t open without completely popping out. Doesn’t swing open like normal carriers.
