    great product
I was concerned that it might be too stiff to fit well on the doorframe like I wanted, but it’s perfect! The instructions don’t really match the product though, as it’s not really peel and stick but rather in a roll so the sticky side is expose as soon as you pull from the roll to measure what you need, which was kind of difficult. Great product overall though and I plan to purchase again.

    Perfect for pets
I love this product! I have a cat and she was destroying my face facings ! I was very upset. So I painted them, and then applied this. Super easy to apply, I have had to pull some off and it took off a little paint…not much. The photo shows a door I put it over after she had started destroying again. She won’t even touch the door facings with this on it, keeps her away completely.

    Great Idea
Bought these to cover my dark brown couch bottoms to prevent kitty from tearing at the fabric. I have used another very similar product on the other side of the same couch, and have been very happy. These are are great, too. You can cut them if needed, without issue, and they are quite sticky so far. ( Have only had these on for a couple weeks but no issues with peeling off whatsoever). I did not use the pins enclosed in the packaging as they were not needed, and I think they are not attractive, so the holes in the corners of each sheet are visible for nothing now, but otherwise, I am happy with these. They are indeed relatively translucent, so at some angles and lighting, you cannot really see them at all if you aren’t looking for them. Good buy over all.

Do not use on painted doorframes
[Easy installation] – It’s very easy to install Cat Furniture Protectors. just measure Peel off the self-adhesive pad, aim a place, stick the pad where you want to protect. Very easy, no complex steps nor tools. There was no backing to the adhesive pad, which is a giant pain when cutting to length. I added pictures to show the lack of any backing material, as well as the instructions that make it plain that it should be there.I tested this on a door frame that is painted, and I left it on there for maybe thirty seconds. It ripped paint right off the frame, as shown in the pictures. I am glad I tested it before getting too excited. I am very disappointed in this product, and I hope other people are wary when buying from this company in the future. If you have unpainted surfaces to apply this to, then the slippery outer shell will probably do the trick for you. On the other hand, I personally would not trust this on anything painted or made of fabric.Overall, just another waste of time and effort.

Your door will still be ruined
I really don’t understand this product so you put this on to prevent door scratches but when you take them off your door will be ruined because it’s so sticky, all the paint comes right off

  6. Randy

    Works great
The film is easy to install, very sticky, but doesn’t ruin paint off door if removed.

  7. Amazon Customer

    Works fine after a week
Yes it works on a screen (aluminum wire mesh).Used the whole roll, almost just exact. Wasted a few inches. Had to cut out straighten edge for next every panel. I used two stacked panels on inside and two outside. Just one panel would be too low for my dog’s scratches when he wants to go outside or to come in.

Takes your paint off when removed
There’s no lining covering the sticky side. I was trying to cover a 32” door. I unrolled a bit and tried to line it up, but it touched the door without being in correct position so I pulled it back to realign and the paint came off my door. Cutting it with scissors is a nightmare as they get stuck with every cut. This stuff definitely should be measured and cut with a blade on a flat surface that can withstand the blade (I have no such surface). After I got it installed (very poorly), I realized I should have held it to the door backwards when cutting from roll and I wouldn’t have lost a patch of paint, but probably would have anyway when trying to install as it curves in toward the door. If they’d just put a liner on it that you can peel off as you’re applying it would be great. I dread what it’s going to do to my door when I try to remove. It wasn’t even really attached to the door as I was trying to get it lined up before sticking it on but due to the curve, it touched and stuck on its own. It hadn’t even been pressed on when it grabbed hard enough to remove paint.

Helpful but if your doors are painted…you will have to retouch them after using this protector. too sticky

  10. Gerardo Del Olmo
