works well for 92 lb dog
Purchased this for one of our Doberman who had begun having a little difficulty jumping into the back of our suburban. Our younger Doberman has also learned to use it. It took both of them some time to become comfortable with it and to trust it, but with a little treat encouragement they do pretty well with it. It is a little heavy but is easy to carry with the side handle, and I’m sure the weight is part of it being sturdy. Would buy again.

Does O.K. But Could Be Better
If you have a vehicle that is high up then I suggest looking for a longer ramp. Hubs drives a Subaru Ascent and this ramp is at a fairly steep angle because the rear of the car is rather high up. We have to be very careful with our dogs when they go up and down the ramp because of the steepness. The sandy strips help, but a rubberized grip would have been much better so that the dog’s toenails could get a better grip. They struggle to find good footing when using it. I wish I had saved the $$ and just got a strong piece of plywood but at least the ramp folds in half saving some room in the back of the car. We had an accident with the ramp because it slide off the edge of the car and hit the ground while one of our dogs was going down and scared her. I doubt she’ll ever use it again after that. It’s better than 2 stars but no more than 3.

Holds up under heavy dog.
The ramp holds my 180 pound security dog very well with just a slight bow. Would like to see carpet on the ramp versus the sticky sand paper type strips.

Saved the day for my dog!
My big GSD is no longer able to jump in the car due to his age and achy hips (and possibly because of a few extra lbs) so I bought him this ramp. He slid down it. I didn’t realize there were sticky strips at the bottom of the box so we put self adhesive carpeting down that I think works better anyway. He was apprehensive at first but I guided him with his leash and my friend guided him from behind with a nudge. He’ll get used to it with time and we can go for more car rides. It folds up easily and fits nicely in the car. It’s a great product. Definitely use the strips or carpeting to avoid slipping.

Itâs perfect
Itâs sturdy, it looks nice, it comes with grip tape. Now if I could just get my dogs to use it. They jump right over it and in to the back seat
