Impressive Low Cost Camera
After installing the Golspark Indoor Security Camera, I am quite impressed (see unboxing. photos) with this camera, especially considering its low cost. Installation didnât take five minutes and was very easy to set up do after downloading the VicoHome smartphone application and is pretty impressive, though obviously still in development. The help area is not linked within the app, however, an extensive help section exists on the VicoHome web site. (There is no reference to the web site in the instructions or in the application.) Night vision has a very clear image with low light sensitivity and the panning controls (left to right as well as up and down) work very well with very little lag time. A firmware update was installed to the camera without any problem, though it took about five minutes.This camera (in 2K mode) has excellent resolution and is very quiet when panning side to side or up and down. Without the cloud option, It does an excellent job of following and notifying of any movement through the room in left to right pans, pets included if panned down. The camera has a battery if you need to install it in a an area without electricity. The two-way audio function works well as does the alarm, which is triggered via the application. Adding anMy main cristicisms of this camera are:1. There is no web site to view or manage your cameras. You must use you smartphone or pad to manage and see the Golspark camera. However, if you have a Apple computer, you can use the VicoHome iOS app. PC/Windows apps and a web client are planned to be released in the future.2. There is no mention of the location of the SD card or any instructions considering it. To locate the slot for the SD card, pan the camera manually up as far as it can go and then quickly shut it off). (The camera can take up to a 128 gb SD card.)3. There is no explanation of the cloud system or mention of it or its costs. The VicoHome Awareness program upgrade is required to add the abilities of intelligent notification and activity zones to the camera. See photos with this review for the costs at different rates for monthly or annual; but the 60-day cloud option shows both âAnnualâ and a â12 Monthsâ option, which is likely an error.4. The âHelpâ section is non-existent in the application but is available on the VicoHome web site.5. The USB cord provided for the camera is entirely too short, only about three feet long; apparently provided mostly to charge the battery, not to continuously provide power to the cameraâwhich I prefer.Overall, this is an excellent camera needing a few things which VicoHome is apparently working on changing or adding. I will do an update to this review in a few months if an outdoor camera becomes available, which will make it the perfect candidate to replace my current security camera system.

Stunning Night Sight and Easy to Control
This camera is useful in multiple scenarios. The design is compact and beautiful, ready to use after plugging in. The mobile app is easy to use to check real-time videos. The app can control the camera’s pan-tilt position. It is easy to monitor the whole room with only one camera. The video resolution can either be 2K for high definition or 1080p for short delay. The night sight effect is amazing! The videos are still clear in the night without any visible light. I used this camera to monitor my 3D printer status while doing the printing project. The picture (blurred background on purpose for privacy) shows a screenshot from video footage during the night. When the camera detects motion, the footage will be saved online. It is perfect for monitoring pets or for security. In my case, I can review the history footage when some print failures occur to check the reasons for failed printings. The camera can also serve as a phone where you can use it for full-duplex voice communication.

Fantastic indoor camera
Very Good indoor camera to monitor just the pets but also your house. The setup is easy and well developed app to use and control the camera and move the camera. The picture and video clarity is amazing . You can either get a premium subscription to have your videos on cloud or you can add a 64gb memory card slot in the camera. They also gave a 2year free service for cloud

Great video quality
The cameras have great picture quality and motion detection. I was impressed with the clarity of the videos for the price. We ordered to keep an eye on our pet while we are out of the house. The camera set up was very easy and the ap is very user friendly. I love how I can move the camera for different angles from my phone. I also like how I can speak through the camera from my phone. The live feed and library playback work well. Great value for the money and I want to order more for other locations.

Not worth the money, horrible connection issues
Worked well for about a week. Then started randomly disconnecting from WiFi. Makes a pinging noise while trying to reconnect which is really fun in the middle of the night as youâre trying to sleep. Originally would disconnect a couple times a day. Has gotten progressively worse. I have to unplug and reset the camera 8-9 times a day. Often taking 25-30 minutes to get it to reconnect. When it is working the connection lags horribly. It proves far more frustrating than it is worth. Itâs half the price of other cameras and provides about a 1/4 of the reliability. There is no customer service support available to help with issues. I finally gave up and bought a different brand. I would not recommend this product at all. Very low quality and very poor experience

Very smooth in setting up, good clarity of videos and pics. It’s literally a mini-robot with remote control for moving the camera, plus motion tracking is cool. I like it

Theyâre pretty decent
I got the plug in ones for inside my house to watch my dog. I think theyâre pretty good for the price I got them at. You can set the sensitivity with the app that goes with it, and the app is easy to use and navigate. I think the set up was pretty easy, it just took a minute for things to load and Itâs not too complicated. The cameras are nice quality too I just wish they had more range looking up and down so be wise with where you place them. Thatâs my only issue. Theyâre worth the money if you donât mind to have some very fancy camera system and want a quick and easy solution.
