I rarely leave a review but these are awesome. I’ve always been afraid to use clippers be cause of fear that my dog would jump and I’d accidentally cut into the quick….NOT WITH THESE. They give you confidence that it will always be a safe cut because of the guard. No more grinder!!!! So happy. I was sick of the dust, the sound and how long it would take. These take 2 minutes to do all of his toes.

Came as expected entirely, but they are rather large and I just bought these because of prime day when really I should have just bought ones I’m more familiar with. If you are as unfamiliar with this style of clipper as I am? They make me nervous to use on my cat. I think cat-specific clippers are better for cats, rather than this two-in-one. I nearly hurt my cat, who is rather small for a cat, trying to figure out how to use the safety guard. It seems to be meant for if you have a bigger animal, they won’t knock your grip and have you accidentally cut way farther up? But honestly it looks like it would probably just throw it at a weird angle.If you like this style of clipper and are used to this style of clipper or curious about it, go for it, but I just found this thing way too bulky and I’d rather buy the style I’m used to and give these away to a friend than accidentally hurt my cat.

Both sizes were the same price. I thought hey if there the same price I should get the large size. But my animals are small so I ended up getting the small size. I’ve never had a design like this one before. I did hours of research to try to find the highest rated ones. I finally just ordered this one! It’s super easy to use and it’s the worst feeling when you accidentally cut the nail to short when they move by accident and this is genius. Absolutely genius design worth the $10. Sharp and gets the job done faster than any other nail clippers I’ve used before. I recommend anyone with a cat to get these because this was the fasted I ever cut there nails and a breath of fresh air because I didn’t have to be scared to cut them to short with the stopper. My opinion #1 nail cutters on Amazon hands down. DONT THINK ABOUT IT LIKE I DID JUST BUY IT NOW!

Great for Large Pets, Not Suitable for Small Breeds
I purchased the gonicc Dog & Cat Pets Nail Clippers and Trimmers in 2019 for my small Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle Maltese. While the clippers have some nice features, they are better suited for larger pets. Incredible invention.
Was tired of paying vets and groomers $15-20 a pop for dog nails. This tool is incredible… the safety bar makes it very safe so if your dog fidgets it can’t cut too deep. Took me 5-10minutes for all 4 paws first try. A little bit of treats and no biggie.
