    My dog loves it!
My dog loves this food! I am assuming the flavor is yummy. She eats it right up! The food smells good. It isn’t grain free which is great. Finding dog foods that aren’t grain free is difficult these days. It comes vet recommended. This has chicken, rice, carrots and gravy. My dog tends to be a picky eater, but as I said, she loves this! As everything, this dog food is unfortunately getting more expensive. I would feel better about paying more if there were a few more containers in the box. I really hope it stays affordable, so I can continue to purchase a good dog food my dog loves.

    Worth it
My dog heart failure and has had surgery on his teeth early and needs more. Because of his condition and age, to fix his teeth could be life threatning. This dog food is expensive and out of my pice range. My dog means the world to me, so I’m getting help to buy it. It is littery the only food that he eats it all and wants more. For that I am forever greatful… I really hope it helps him with his feeling well in his end days. I will write another review when I find out… thank you for the great taste. He wouldn’t even eat The Farmers Dog

    Stopped my dogs seizures!!
I have an 8 year old Pomeranian who just started having daily seizures. I learned from YouTube comments it was likely due to too much protein causing ammonia in the brain. I switched her diet to this food and it 100% worked. Comparable entirely to farmers dog.Instructions on the packaging are unclear and I was doing 1 tray a day for a 5lb dog, but after going back online learned 2 would suffice. The cost adds up and becomes rather equal to the farmers dog, but the subscription option on here certainly helps and I would say they both fixed the problem. My dog loves the flavor and the wet trays are perfect for her teeth problem… you do burn through them way quicker than you would think, but to fix this issue without vet costs and prescription food… it is what it is. Just do it. Worth it. Will use this stuff forever.

    Good portion
My dog likes it but he got sick after eating & fed to my outside dog & he got sick. Don’t know why.

  5. REby

    My dog likes it
I feed this along with a handful of dried food for my 17 year old Cairn terrier. I’m not sure if feeding her this brand since we got her has contributed to her longevity but at 17 she still has a quality of life and can still tell us when she wants something.

    Finicky furry friends loved it
Both of my dogs (15 and 22 pounds respectively) loved this food! There is no off-putting scent for their human parents, and the chunks in the food look like real stuff that both human and dogs would eat.One of my dogs had been thought a lot this past year. She had half her lower jaw removed due to squamous cell cancer and has recently been diagnosed with kidney disease. She is managing to eat dry and wet foods now, but due to her kidney issues she is eating Hill’s Science Diet K/D dry food which is low in protein and phosphorus. She’s a finicky eater and to tempt her palate I took a tablespoon of this wet food and mixed it with her dry. Much to my delight her finicky palate was no more! (I had contacted Hill’s regarding the amount of protein and phosphorus in this wet food and because it’s for little dogs it was low enough to be OK for her.)This is quality food that I will continue to feed to my furry family members and would recommend to other small dog owners. This food is excellent for weight management and dogs love it!NOTE: I found the packaging no harder to get into than other brands with similar type packaging. One trick if you can’t find the tab is to use the pointy end of a bottle opener to poke the top near the edge and pull up – creating a hole and a way to lift the foil. But as stated before, I had no real problems opening the existing packaging.———————UPDATE 9/21/17 – The Vine sent me the Chicken flavor and I purchased the Beef flavor for a second go at this food. The dogs liked both, but I think the chicken was their favorite, thus I ordered some more with ‘subscribe and save’. It should be noted that there are larger cans of this food which are less expensive than this packaging.——————————-

    Messy
My Shih Tzu gets this all over his face.I prefer the barley /chicken to this

    Recommendation from veterinarian
My picky eater Jack Russell has never snubbed the chicken flavor, or the beef flavor. Because of the cost I will be trying the canned food variety on both the chicken and beef flavor. My dog requires at least 2 to 3 servings per day. I have spent a fortune trying to find something he consistently likes. I am also going to try Hills Science diet treats and the dry food. My dog has never been a fan of dry food. He is a rescue from a hoarder household with over 80 dogs. After living in a cage for the 1st half of his life, he still lives on the corner of the couch or the corner of the bed. Poor guy still lives in a cage in his mind.
