Cat would not use it in a full flight.
We got these for our senior cats. They would rather struggle on the regular steps then try to use these. The problem is not going up, the problem is going down. Cats are older and they cannot stop their own momentum going down on these step pillows. I’m sure some animals will use these but others will not. Product was very easy to put on the steps and the amount of velcro they give was absolutely sufficient. I ended up with a bunch of pieces left over, but only one side so I could not use them for anything else. Meaning I only got one side of the velcro left over. This is a cheaper option than some of the wooden ramps and might be great for a few steps, but it seems like once you have a full flight of stairs a lot of animals may not use it.

    Get real, hard stairs
Tiny Styrofoam filled. Have small, arthritic dogs but they don’t use. Maybe 2″ increase in height. Save your money

    Stairs
I had bought this for a puppy that was attacked and couldn’t climb regular stairs thought this would make it easier. I’m sorry to say it didn’t work as I had hopedid not fit in the stair. Correctly.

They work, Velcro unreliable and a bit pricey
I have some elderly rabbits who no longer use the stairs well. I’ve since moved them upstairs to avoid the problem all together but like to take them downstairs when I know I’ll spend a lot of time there. These steps are packed small and then once they get some air in them they’re standard size, sort of like a new mattress. They’re a nice soft angle that doesn’t put too much stress on my animals and they have washable covers which are a must for me. I did find the Velcro was a bit ineffective at its job since I already have carpeted stairs but my rabbits are only four pounds on the heavy side so there isn’t too much weight distributed on them at a time. That said I do find them shifted as my rabbits back feet tend to push out the previous step a bit when they’re going fast. I wish there was a different method to secure them, maybe even just adding a weighted bottom – especially with the current price tag. I think these are good to use for smaller inclines, like getting up a landing step or into a high walled cage, rather than for a string of stairs.

Interesting Concept But Execution Needs Some Tweaks
This set of dog ramps for stairs arrived quickly and well packaged with no damage incurred in transit. The set includes (4) foam ramps that come rolled up and vacuum sealed in clear plastic packaging. Upon opening, the ramps rebound to their original shape relatively quickly but could take up to a day to fully reach their original shape. Each ramp has a removable and machine washable exterior that is soft to the touch. The bottom of the ramps have a textured non slip pattern along with two velcro strips sewn on. The opposite side of the velcro strips are freely included as well, but those pieces are not cut to match the size of the sewn on strips. The free pieces have a sticky backing so you can adhere them to a solid surface. I found they held up decently on my hardwood stairs, but did not stay in place on the covered stairs that lead to my bed. The velcro isn’t the best I’ve seen/used, but works sufficiently enough if the ramps are being used by smaller/lightweight animals. The foam will compress if your pet is on the heavier side or if they are running across the ramps which could potentially become dangerous so proper installation is important. The concept is a great one but I definitely feel like the execution falls short of what I was expecting as far as functionality goes. I wish that there was a way to connect the four pieces together. Whether there was a top piece that zips on connecting all, or a way to connect one piece to the next, it would add another level of safety and security that I do feel is needed. I also wish there was a better slip proof material on the bottom along with a more effective means of connecting to stairs. I personally added clear double sided tape on the vertical side that faces the stairs to add another layer of security. The price point for the set is a little more than other similar products for the amount of pieces included, but not by much. Overall, this is a decent option for those who have a pet 15lbs or less that needs something to help make traversing stairs a bit easier, but the design could use some improvement to make it even better. Would recommend.

    great idea but needs work
The concept is great but don’t stay put, at least not on hard surface steps – maybe different on carpeted stairs. I worried more about my doxie slipping and falling with these than I do without.

Works well on standard stairs, but not deep enough for most dog stairs
We have an older dog who can handle stairs but has recently refused to use his dog stairs to the bed. I added these to the dog stairs and was pleased to find that the dog was now willing to use them. He is still a bit scared, but these definitely help in both directions. The issue is that these ramp segments are too deep for most dog stairs, so they overlap. However, they are great for regular stair and provide a nice cushioned ramp.

    Small and did not work
Should have known better. These are too small, not sturdy and not worth the money.
