Sound advice from a great dog trainer
I’ve been going to a trainer for a couple years now but also have been following this author on Instagram. He gives great advice and I have already gifted two of these books to people with new dogs.As an added bonus, I have messaged him twice and he’s actually responded. This makes me feel like he really cares about dogs and his customers.Thank you

  3. Steve Tippetts

Must have as a dog owner
Love the style it is written in. Very thorough and easy to follow steps.

  4. Nikki

    Positive reinforcement
This is a great book that focuses on positive reinforcement training. To be honest I just reported a fake review that claims Adam writes about using aversive methods. This is not true, I am holding the book in my hand right now.If you are looking for a training guide that breaks things down and makes it easy, this is for you. He also has great videos on Facebook, as well as an app. These are free resources.Keep up the great work, Adam.

    Love this book
I love this book! Adam tells you like it is and he doesn’t mince words. He’s hilarious in his delivery, but explains why you need to do what you need to do in training your pup.

  6. Kristie Lyn

    Good for new puppy owners

  10. Susanne Schaudy

no-nonsense dog training indeed: lots of practical advice, easy to follow and brings almost instant results. The dogs are less stressed out, overall calmer and so am I, because I understand what it is I’m doing. For me this is the best book on dog training since Dr. Mugford. Highly recommended!

  11. Settee cover

Brilliant book that I am reading, helping me to understand how to use the tools to enable me to help my reactive rescue dog. I will be recommending this book to my family and friends and the trainer who live in UK.

This is the book I have been searching for since I adopted my rescue pooch 18 months ago. In desperation I bought this book after buying at least 4 other titles. Within the first couple of chapters I started to put into practice some of the tips and I can honestly say it’s the best afternoon out I’ve ever had with my dog. He returned calm mentally stimulated and attuned to my voice. I only bought the book as my partner was so fed up with his unruly behaviour he gave me the ultimatum that he needed to be re-homed. So at midnight there I was scouring the bookshelves for someone who could help me. Thank goodness I found this straight talking no nonsense approach that spoke my language. I cant recommend this book highly enough
