WHAT I would have wanted to know re my elderly dog and changing to Iams
EDIT: Bryan has now passed his 14th bd months ago and is still enjoying his Iams. He doesn’t see or hear well, but his nose still finds his Iams. I think this is what has helped him keep going.________________________________________OK, so my almost 13 yr old CoJack (Corgi/Jack Russell) has been on Science Diet Chicken and Barley for dogs 7 plus canned for years now.All of a sudden, it’s gotten super hard to find and I thought now what? He does better on chicken, I didn’t want to upset his digestive system and what if he didn’t like the new food? PLUS I had to make sure for older dogs.MY experience:PROS -FIRST thing I noticed, cool, I don’t need to use a can opener.SECOND thing…SMELL! Smells so much better than Science Diet. Which can be hard to take first thing in the morning.THIRD about the same price for same amount.FOURTH my dog LOVES it and he does better on a more pate kind, one without lots of gravy and stuff.This food has a better TEXTURE than Science Diet, but still the kind of pate, no gravy.and one of the most important FIFTH DIGESTIBILITY since I was changing over from another food. He’s doing FINE on it. His tummy is good with this one.NO CONS SO FAR AND BOTTOMLINE:IF you also had your elderly dog on that chicken Science Diet and are looking for a replacement, I would say give this a try! Is working well for my old man dog.

Junior LOVES This! It saved his life!
My 13 year old Rat Terrier, Junior lost all his teeth. He could no longer eat hard food he was used to. I watched him start to lose weight and get older looking because I didnât know his teeth were so weak or simply gone. I took him to the doctor to get the rest of them pulled. Then I saw this food and bought it every two weeks.He weighs about 10lbs. so I try to feed half of a can to him twice daily every 12 hours. I have since watched him gain his weight back and get younger looking! He will be 14 years old on 3Sep2024. Thank you IAMâsfor giving me more time with my dog.
