Sturdy and easy to build.
I am beyond pleased with these houses. I was worried they would be made of flimsy cheap thin plastic, but they are sturdy, and well made. They are typical dog house plastic. They were easy to build. Took maybe 5 minutes. No tools or parts required. They snap together easily, but wonât accidentally fall apart. I put together 20 of them in just a couple hours. No tools needed although a mallet or firm closed hand bump was helpful with some of them, that seemed to have a tighter fit.

Perfect size
This is perfect for my 2 smaller frenchies. We have put it in their dog run for during the day and they love it. Only complaint is that there is no door coverage for if it rains. We have ordered the “replacement flaps” for other dog houses that we will be attaching to the inside Of the box.

Solid construction, but saying this is for medium dogs is a bit of a stretch.
Goes together in about 60 seconds. Find the base, snap on the front and back, then the sides and finally the top. The front piece had some warping which made it a bit fiddly to install. Once setup you can’t see the part that was warped tho. The top lifts up for easy access inside for cleaning, but here too there was some warping. the bit of plastic that allows the top to pivot was at an angle, meaning it easily comes apart. Once assembled it feels sturdy and will hold up well to the elements. The reason for knocking a point off is that this isn’t really a medium. My Shiba is considered a medium size, but this is just a tad too tiny.

A little tricky but the end result is great
When I ordered this item the reviews were a bit mixed – generally very positive but with some sharply differing opinions on assembly. I actually found this kind of tricky to assemble – the instructions make it seem like a simple “fold and snap in place” type of situation but I was thrown by the fact that there are a bunch of metal brackets mounted inside that apparently needed to be removed for everything to work properly. There was also a slightly misaligned joint that required some real effort to snap into place. These things happen sometimes. That said, once the house was complete, I was satisfied with it. It’s nice and large, easily big enough to house two or three of the wild cats that hang around or backyard. We intend to place a heated pad in there (not included) so they can stay warm over the winter. The house is sturdy and won’t easily blow over in the wind, though we’re also going to put some weight on the top to make sure. The interior is roomy and very easily accessed through either the wide front opening or the openable roof. I would think that most small to medium dogs would fit in the house, though don’t get it for larger breeds such as German shepherds.

Cracked on assembly
Cracked on assembly! These pieces do not line up at all and once they are together seem impossible to pull apart. One side split at the bottom. I realize that this is all plastic, but very unhappy for the $60 price tag. I purchased two, but will likely return the other one.

DIFFICULT, DIFFICULT, DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER
No videos are offered on this product to assist in putting it together. I had to read reviews to learn the problems others had and what I needed to do. The reviews helped. I did have to use a hammer (against a thick gloved pot holder) in order to make the parts go in together. Once in place, it is a very sturdy shelter for a SMALL animal. I wish I had been offered a left entrance opening instead of the right that I received. One picture shows a left opening. This would have been better and offered more protection from the elements as a left opening would have been closer to our front doors on our porch. Still seems like a very good product. Manufacturer could stand to make this about a foot longer and should re-write assembly instructions. It should be as easy as 1,2,3 without customers having to figure out things for themselves!!! I hope my review also helps others.

Very sturdy, easy assembly
This is a great little house for something. It went together in a snap, once I figured out you need to remove some filler pieces in the sides first. The directions don’t tell you to do it, and they probably should, but hey, it isn’t rocket science, so I’m not taking off for incomplete instructions. It’s 6 pieces that snap together, very easily and build a nice little box with a door and a roof that lifts up. No tools or screws are necessary. I did it in minutes and I’m in my late seventies, so this is easy, really.I got it to go outside in a wooded area by our property that has several species, cats, coons, possums, etc. So we’ll see what decides to live in it. It should be easy to clean, just lift the top and hose it out. There are handles in the side and it’s very light, so would be nothing to carry it. The house is solid, no apparent cracks or drafts, but the front opening is not covered, so it’s not totally weatherproof, but a lot more warmth and protection than nothing. Would be great for chickens in your backyard if you can have them. Nice product.
