Really happy with this gate
Arrived on time, no damages, well packed. We use it as an extension for one of our dogs crates (her crate is appropriately sized for her but she likes to stretch out at night). It also keeps her from wandering around & getting into mischief while allowing some extra wiggle room, too. I wish it had feet/small side bars to make it a bit more sturdy but, with the current configuration weâre using (âc-shapedâ), itâs fine. I also like that itâs foldable. Itâs not super skinny/flat but itâs not too much of an issue for storage. I would recommend this. (Note; we have a 4-year old English shepherd if youâre concerned about the height – sheâs never once tried to get over it but has tried to push it so we just put a crate in front to prevent this).

Iâd give 4 1/2 stars if I could only because itâs a little flimsy if you need it extended most of the length but it looks nice and itâs thin enough to stow away easily when not needed.

Nice Gate, butâ¦
The gate itself has been sturdy, and easy to use. It is heavy enough that my rambunctious 50lb puppy is learning to respect it. Nice color.On the downsideâ¦the smell of the gate was strong. It reminded me of my grandmaâs house. It wasnât horrible, but definitely had an odor.Also, I had to pay 10.99 for shipping (not allowed free shipping) and it was promised by a certain day. It got delayed, and was delivered several days later. I contacted Amazon, and they were awesome at helping me resolve this problem. Thank you, Amazon.Still, it is a good gate so far.

This little gate is exactly what I was looking for to keep my dogs from the kitchen. It fits perfectly in my small doorway, stands freely, and allows easy access to the kitchen. I like that it just slides open with no latches and I donât have to mount it into the wall. This may not work for determined, larger dogs, but for my gentle Golden, and my little Chihuahua, itâs perfect. A good find for the price.

Mid grade product
Excellent gate, light weight, decently painted. I can see the paint degrading over time so I will probably coat it with a layer of polyurethane to extend its life and for it to withstand outdoor conditions. Quality is mid, but the price is what attracted me to it so I accept the little flaws.My dog doesnât really need containment, but itâs great when I have guests or need him to stay in one place while cleaning. This can get knocked down, so if your dog is rowdy, youâll be better off with the ones that have feet for stability.

Lightweight Folding Gate
I wanted something lightweight that would fit across my wide office doorway to keep my pup from wandering. She’s pretty well mannered and doesn’t push her way through gates, but if you have a dog that is restless or an escape artist that knows to push gates open, this will NOT keep them contained.I basically didn’t want a heavy duty gate so that I could move it around easily, or take it home with me if needed. The heavy duty gate I have at home is HEAVY and is not very portable. This is a very simple gate, but fits my needs exactly.

Sturdy and stable dog gate
This does the job well at keeping my dog contained to one room while contractors are coming in and out of the house. She loves being in the dining room because she can still see everyone and watch the yard through the huge picture window, but there’s no door between the dining room and living room to keep her from running out the front door. This gate works great to block her in. The 5 wooden feet that go on the bottom help stabilize the whole thing. We really didn’t need the gate panel to open and close, but it does operate smoothly. If you remove the feet (which just lift on and off freely), the whole thing folds flat for storage, folding like a paper fan.The only downside to it is the hinges to connect each panel all had to be installed with a screwdriver. The drill just strips the screws. There’s 4 screws for each hinge, and 2 hinges in between each set of panels. It was tedious and tiring to install them all, even with all of the holes pre-drilled and actually lined up correctly. The end result is definitely a sturdy product, buy it would’ve been great to have the hinges pre-installed. Since the whole thing does fold flat with the hinges attached, they could’ve assembled it prior to packing it for shipping. However, for the price point, it was a good value, even unassembled. I would buy it again.

Cheaply Made But….
Cheaply made but serves its purpose.Paint peels easily.Not heavy at all which makes it easy to use but also makes it easy for your dog to move if they want to.If I would have paid full price for it, I would be returning it.I got it used like new.I think it would do well with dogs under 20lbsThis is a review on the shorter, 4 panel one.

This product came in yesterday so I can only speak of my experience this far. I love the colour!! Trendy and matched my decor. I bought this bc we have a 3 month old puppy. We keep her isolated in our living room for now. It keeps her where we want her to be. It’s placed on our steps. It’s perfect for this place. She knows she can’t attempt to escape, lol.

This simple gate is very lightweight and quick to place. I would not use it at the top of the stairs because it is light, but to block access to a room, or at the bottom of the stairs it works very well.. I have purchased more, I like it so much
