Flimsy
The gate worked for about a week and then my toddlers broke the mount. I also didnât like how it was installed as itâs not very easy to move from one location to the next. Itâs a fixed gate so itâs not adjustable without having to unscrew and move the mounts which leaves holes in the wall. Might be good for small dogs but not toddlers

Awesome inexpensive gate for inside or outside!!
Love this gate! Easy to set up the first time and love that I don’t have to drill to install it. And now that I’ve set it up the first time, I don’t have to readjust it every time I take it out – just pop it in and out of my doorway.I bought the 2-pack so I could use one inside my house, and one outside at the bottom of my deck stairs to keep my pup on the deck. Also, the black color looks great in my home – glad I had an inexpensive option that wasn’t a cheapo wooden frame with a white plastic panel in it.

Ingenuity Doorway gate
Eh, this gate it ok. It is more of a permanent gate than a moveable gate. It is flimsier than I had expected. I have toddlers and they are rough on gates and I donât think this is going to last a long time with them. This will be good for puppies and small dogs, but I could see a big dog knocking this right over.

Great quality gate for 19.99, very sturdy. I can tell it will last us for a while. I like that you set it to your desired width and thatâs it. Unlike with those cheap tension rod gates, where I can never find just the right slot for the rod. No drilling required. The cups stick to the wall, easy peasy.

Sturdy and easy to set up
This dog gate was pretty easy to set up. It feels fairly sturdy. I’m not really concerned with my dogs jumping on it and knocking it down, the visual is deterrent enough to keep them contained, so I can’t speak to its ability to hold in a dog who actually wants out. They could easily jump over it but they won’t. I am using this outside at the top of the steps to my covered porch. It has held up against the weather so far with no damage. It’s mostly plastic so it should be fine outside. It is kind of annoying to have to lift the whole gate out, but it’s better than the mickey moused gate solution I had before, and I fortunately don’t go out that way very often so I don’t have to mess with it much. If it was a more high traffic area I could see this being annoying. It’s a good value for the price, dog gates can get really expensive. So depending on your needs, this is a pretty great buy.

Extremely easy installationâ¦then I was amazed to see how quickly and easily I could take it out and put it back in. I was worried about the black fixture on light colored walls, but I feel like it actually makes it look higher end. Great purchase!
