Customers say
Customers find the pet bed mat provides warmth and comfort for their cats. It works well and keeps them cozy, especially outdoors during chilly nights. The bed is durable and reliable, with a tough vinyl coating and removable cover. They find it soft and cozy, but not too soft that their cats get uncomfortable.

It warms very good
I bought the large size and it was perfect for my adult German Shepherd. It warms when my dog is on it. Very sturdy material and soft cover. I like the wire around the cord makes it harder for my dog to chew up. There is no temperature control but thatâs ok I would use it at max level regardless itâs very cold this winter. It makes no noise, itâs waterproof and easy to clean. A little pricey but worth it.

Love it
The K&H Pet Products Lectro-Soft Outdoor Heated Dog and Cat Bed is a fantastic option for pets that need extra warmth during the colder months. Designed for outdoor use, this bed is perfect for dogs or cats that spend time outside in chilly weather. The thermostatically controlled heating pad ensures that your pet stays warm and cozy without overheating, providing just the right amount of heat for comfort. I love that the bed is orthopedic, offering excellent support for older pets or those with joint issues. The 25″ x 36″ size is generous, giving plenty of room for my pet to stretch out and relax. The bed is also well-made, with a durable exterior that can withstand outdoor conditions and the occasional rough weather. The tan color is neutral and blends well with most outdoor decor, while the electric pad heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature. Itâs easy to set up and use, and I appreciate that itâs energy-efficient, so it doesnât add a lot to the electric bill. The bed is also easy to clean, with a removable cover that can be washed when needed. If your pet spends time outside and needs a warm, comfortable resting spot, this heated bed is an excellent investment.

Cat loves it!
My older cat loves this. It works as described. If you lay your hand on it, you feel a very faint warmth. Once your pet is on it the pad will warm up to its full temperature. Or as the instructions say you can place a pillow over it for 10-15 minutes to check the heating function. I had to show it to my cat the first time and coax her to stay on it for a bit. By the bedroom window was already a favorite place of hers and that was where I put it, so she took to it naturally. I would place it in somewhere your animal already likes for a while and then move it if you need to. The cord is decent length but since this is a heating product I don’t think I would use an extension cord with it. The cord is anti-chew, and I wanted a pad with that feature even though this has never been a problem with my cat. Even though this is an outdoor rated product it is perfectly fine indoors. I would recommend this definitely.

Perfect for the Aussie porch pups!
I purchased two of these heaters to use in two large K&H elevated dog cots w/ tents. They really do the trick. They heat well, the dogs seemed to like them right away and they work exactly as described! No heat without pressure and nice and toasty when utilized. My dogs love being outdoors and happily lounge on the lawn when it’s 25 degrees, but I like knowing that they have a warm, cozy haven when they want it. Also, just a bid for the aforementioned tents, they are great quality, keeps them off the cold porch and holds the heat as well. I feel sure in saying we will get much use from them as the tent is removable and the separate cot will be perfect on the porch for lazy, hot, humid east Texas summers. I am very impressed with K&H products, quality and standards. Initially purchased a small heater for the chihuahua’s bed… which the cat is enjoying immensely!!

Nice bed for price
Nice weight to plastic materials and works well. We placed in an outdoor dog bed and seems to keep our dog warm so far.Cons- the âcoverâ of the bed is very thin and doesnt go around the whole bed more like a topper, comes off regularly and I worry the dogs nails will poke the plastic heating bed when the cover slides off. But so far so good!

Excellent warm mat for an outdoor dog house.
We have an outdoor doghouse for any pets who may get caught outside in the winter. This heating pad does not get super hot, rather it has a nice, steady warmth which even kept the water dish liquid.

Like it!
We have 2 outdoor ranch dogs, who come inside when its really cold. Most of the time, though, they prefer their beds/houses on the porch and just need a little something extra for warmth at times. These pads are perfect for that. I sit on them myself to make sure they’re working and so far they are exactly as described. Cool to the touch at first but they quickly warm up to a low, gentle heat. The dogs are free to go elsewhere if they don’t want the warmth and I unplug them when not in use. Overall, we’re very happy with them.

shipping is slow and no contact.Prime is of no use if it takes weeks to box.
Bed seems nice. The dog chewed up the 1st one so I ordered another one. It did trip a breaker when he did that. Hopefully he learned his lesson. I like this bed because it is the only one that turns on by pressure and not a timer. Replacing is of no use if they do not ship when you purchase the item. Still waiting a week later to ship with no word what is going on.

This is a quality built heating pad that was considerably lower in price than the local pet supply stores.

I got this after having the harsh weather or whatever it’s called- the hard plastic version. My one cat just never can get warm so she is obsessed with such things, plus we have a yard feral now so needed a spare for outside to help her through the winter. I’m not sure yet which I prefer, will update if there turns out to be any difference in longevity. The padded nature of this is nice of course, plus it is easier to shove inside the feral shelter box, being flexible. I shake my head at all the reviewers baffled by the valve thing! Let me try to explain. The pad is full of foam. To make it smaller for shipping? or maybe so we can control the hardness? they suck the air out and when we get it we open the valve and let air back in. While the pad is plugged in so it warms up, softening the foam to help it fluff back up. If you want it firmer you can encourage more air to go inside by pushing and pulling gently at opposite edges somewhat like you’d fluff a pillow. if you want no air just the foam, which would be a softer cushion, you can leave it or even squish it a little. Once you like how it is you seal the valve again. There is no pump. The pad doesn’t change dramatically. We’re just taking a squashed scrap of foam expanding to its unsquashed state, and possibly a small amount of air being fluffed in there too. It is subtle. As far as I can tell this works the same as the hard one- left alone it is a few degrees above ambient, to attract the animal to lie on it. Once there is pressure it then warms up a bit more, to around body temp. Very good for not wasting energy while unoccupied. Note that both are “outdoors” tolerant but only in the way that a doghouse, shed, breezeway, porch or garage is outdoors- they are NOT built to be FULLY outdoors in the rain, snow and mud. And I’m not sure they could keep an animal safe in harsh weather without some shelter anyway.Seems to be great indoors for my chilly housecat as well as outdoors for the feral.I put a thick, folded-in-half bathmat over both the soft and hard heat pads, for padding. So far no fires. If the bedding you add is heavy, it could trigger the pad to go into extra-warm mode without an occupant though, which would be a big waste of electricity. But IMHO adding a bit of a blanket is harmless.Do use it in the room with you at first to be sure you haven’t got a faulty one that’ll go up in flames or anything. I put a brick on it to get it to fully warm, left it a couple days. ONLY while I was home. Then I was satisfied it could be left unsupervised in the shed where the feral hides. Don’t trust any electrical appliance unsupervised until you have checked it out awhile.

I was disappointed that the original heated mat I received I had to return to US due to measurements being mixed on site, some were metric and others were imperial, I had assumed because width stated cm that the length and width were also in cm!!. The second mat arrived and it was the correct fit but, no mention as to the fact that it would have a US plug and supply so had to buy a step down transformer – more expense. Now I have it working it is ideal and my cat loves it have hardly seen her since it was put in her outdoor kennel.

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this heating pad!. Itâs unique from other heating pads. This is the type of heating pad that when plugged in it might not feel hot, it needs to have something on top of it. Thatâs when it will get hot, but when your animal goes off the heating pad It will seem like itâs not on but thatâs what I love about it. It gives good consistent heat without overheating for your pet and itâs waterproof, the cord is durable and protected preventing any animal to chew through it!! This is a type of heating pad You should get for your pet! itâs safe itâs durable and it wonât overheat providing nice consistent heat when your pet is ON IT when off, It doesnât seem warm. Only gets warm when pressure is on it. Or when you put your hand underneath the pad itâs warm. MY 45 lb dog LOVES it!!! . I hope this helps. And yes I would PAWS-ITIVLEY recommend THIS heating pad for pets! We give it a 5 paws up!

We keep a cool house at night. The best feature is that it only heats up when she lays on it so you can leave it plugged in 24/7. My girl loves it!
