Sturdy and well worth the $$
These stairs arrive in two parts – 1 compressed bag of foam and 1 fabric cover. I was a bit skeptical when I saw this, but all my doubts have gone now. You simply let the foam out of the bag and give it a little time to reach full size and it perfectly fits inside the zippered cover. The foam inflated to about 90% within a few minutes and by the next day was at 100% and fully filled out the cover perfectly. This is a well made item and the foam is sturdy. My dogs took to it right away and it is so light and easy to move as needed. I have not had to wash the cover at all, but it would be easy to do so since the cover has a large zipper. Definitely recommend this.

Just what we needed
Our little Chihuahua is getting on in years and having issues getting up on the couch lately so I ordered these stairs for her. They came compressed, with the cover in a separate package. It took only a few hours for the stairs to puff up to full size and the cover went on easily, just pulled it on over the stairs and zipped it up. The cover is very plush and I love that it’s washable. There’s even a pocket on one side. The overall footprint of these stairs isn’t intrusive in our space like I feared.Our little dog climbed right up and seems so happy to be able to get herself on and off the couch without aide again. We are so happy to have these great pet stairs!
