Used for dog entering/exiting back seat of Silverado pickup truck.
Our Rottie (100 lbs.) had two TPLO “knee” surgeries six months ago. The back seat of the Chevy Silverado truck is just too high for her to enter, even when putting her paws up and we boost her rear. Plus she is too heavy to comfortably boost at that height. We recently took a seven day road trip where she used the steps up and down at least four times each day. This collapsible stair was perfect for her to enter and exit the back seat of the truck. The steps are sturdy. They open and collapse easily and store behind the front passenger seat. The two support braces at the top of the steps set into the back seat rear crevice and right at the front edge of the back seat. We had a dog cover on the seat which helped to keep them from slipping off the seat, plus at each use I braced the steps with my foot to keep them from slipping on the ground/parking lot/gravel – wherever we parked. We insisted she step – step – step down instead of jumping but that was the only training necessary. (We have steps in our house.) She went up them easily from the start. They are wide and not slippery. A decent product, ready for her use, we hope, for many more years.

    Exactly what we needed!
These steps are fantastic! I have a 110lb malamute that is getting to the age she just can’t jump up into the back of my SUV or truck anymore. She also HATES being lifted – so this was the solution! The steps are super sturdy and fold and unfold easily with just one free hand. They stretch enough for just about any surface you need your dog to get to. We have had these quite a while and are very happy with this product!

    Quality that you can feel
The moment I got it out of the box, I knew it was a good quality. The whole feel of the steps is just firm and sturdy. I got this after one of the other ones collapsed under my 98 pound Rottie pup, when she rushed out of the SUV. (It was supposed to be for over 200 pounds. I guess not) Anyway,… This one feels a lot more sturdy and the metal frame feels thicker. I hope the hinges will also be better. It is a bit heavier that the cheap, not so cheap other one, but the extra pound is well applied. Make sure you hook it around the latch, so it will not slight. When you store it, you also will want to make sure you loop the hook around the seatbelt and hook it into the strap, so it will not fly through the vehicle when you have to suddenly stop! The steps are deep for a secure step up and the steps have a wide width of approximately 19 inches -20 inches, depending on where you measure from. This width will give your dog a secure step up with the hind legs, without slipping off at the side. My 8 year old Rottie did have trouble with the 17 inch steps, so these extra few inches make a huge difference for her. I do recommend these steps for young and old. They are easier on the hips than ramps and will protect your young pups from injury and your old ones from aging related pain.

    Reinforcing important Parts
Great padding for my puppy, I love the design and sturdiness. I travel to several houses each day and use the stairs at least 25 times a day. I would like to buy this again but the handles and base are wearing too much. Let me know if you’re interested in testing your products in the future.

    ABSOLUTE AWESOME!!!!!
This are the best dog stairs I EVER purchased. I have a senior 83 lbs Pitbull that needs to go in and out of a Ford F250 truck – quite a challenge. These stairs are so easy to handle, light weight, i can stash them away behind my seat after using They stretch out very nice so my dog has a smooth and easy in and out of the truck. He did not even think twice using them. These stairs are super AWESOME. If i could, i would give a 10 rating

    Great Dog Steps
Just recieved this product and works VERY WELL for my 105 Lbs. Senior German Shepherd to navigate up and down into my Lifted PickUp. I tried to Use a 72Inch Ramp and was impossible for him asend up into the back of the truck. Upon Intial review this is Very Sturdy with Silicon Rubber mats for sure footing. it is slighlty heavy, but i am Ok with that. For an Elderly person or someone with diffuculty lifting objects, this may not be suitable. But i can NOT express it Enough on how well this works for HIGH pickup beds. Highly recommended.!!

Wonderful for Older and Larger Dogs
These steps are super easy to use and nice and wide for our large dogs. Very easy to handle and light enough to manage without assistance. They fold compactly and have handles that velcro. Highly recommend!

Scratched and dented the back of my brand new SUV. NOT HAPPY
These stairs were supposed to reach an suv. I have a Mazda cx30. Smallest suv out there. They dented the back of the car. There’s scratches on the bumper. Not only that. But did not hold up my dog. I’m so aggravated right now. This will cost me more to fix this car now. Shame on you for selling something that is false advertisement.
