Great stairs. I’ll be buying another set.
My senior cat is starting to have issues jumping up onto the bed, so I decided to get a small set of stairs for him. I went to my local TJX store and got a nice foam set of stairs. He liked them and they worked well, so I went back to get another set. But as anyone that’s familiar with TJX, their inventory constantly rotates and they don’t always have the same thing available. So I checked out Amazon.I should have started here. I found a very similar set of pet stairs at a lower price. So I bought the Lesure Dog Stairs for Small Dogs – 3 step model, in grey. It was nice to have a bunch of different colors to choose from. (Just don’t let my cat know I bought him DOG stairs!) The package came the next day. Smaller than I thought it would be, but the Lesure people are smart and compressed the foam like it was some fancy mattress you see advertised on TV. Assembly took less than 5 minutes.I noticed a couple differences when compared to the steps I bought locally. The Lesure steps have MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) pieces that go between the foam and the cover on the stair tread. This adds stability and makes for a firmer set of stairs for my old guy. The other big difference is on the bottom of the stair set. Lesure used some material that has little rubber/silicone grippers to keep it from sliding around. I really like this. The other set of stairs tends to slide away from the bed when my cat jumps off of the top step onto the bed.The cover is nice. It looks pretty durable. It easily unzips so you can wash it. (Make sure you remove the MDF boards. They don’t like water!)And the hidden bonus with the Lesure stairs is the foam construction. When you get out of bed in the middle of the night, you won’t stub your toe and wake up the whole house as you hop around swearing. This alone counts for 2 stars.

Much more durable than those of years past
I let the foam breathe overnight like suggested. Arrived in great shape. A little confusing to put together myself but the picture directions were clear. A bit tight and some struggles to get each piece covered. Doable. Only took me about 15-20 minutes. Worth it!!Very stable for my 22 lb terrier mix and for my48 lb pittie mix.You may consider removing the plastic âwoodâ slats that come with and are in the material covering each step. Not needed for performance or stability. And my 12 year old dog did Not like them. Easy to remove each, especially Before fitting the covering over foam. Well worth the price and tiny bit of effort. Used treats to have each dog go up and down several times and they love it. Easy for my 12 year old with Cushings to use. Nice color. I purchased the grey 4-steps. They are the height stated; I measured.

Not quite what I expected.
These dog steps are really narrow. I have a 16 pound dog and the steps are almost too narrow for him. One of the steps is wider than the board inside so it makes the step wobbly. If it wasn’t such a hassle, not to mention cost because I would have to buy a box from Amazon, which I did before but they only sent a label, and cost more than just label and never got box or refund I would have to drive 100 miles to get to ups store as that is the nearest to me. Weight is okay, won’t tip over easily and it is sturdy beside the one step. It is supposed to be for small dogs but it is more reasonable for tiny dogs. I have an Italian greyhound mix and he has long legs. He won’t use it if he possibility get around using it. I bought it so he could get on my bed without jumping up and down as my bed is really tall, I have a difficult time getting in it. I don’t want him to break a leg so have to get different steps, possibly for medium or large dog.

Very sturdy and well made
The steps are great. a little hard to put together because the phone fits tightly inside of the and I have arthritis in my hands, but I got it in there and my dog took right to them and she goes up and down them with ease. My bed is very tall. These steps go high enough that she can step up on my bed with no problem.

Cats will use it!
I bought this for my cats as one is a senior. It started out with just my senior cat using it and now they both do! Helps them get up onto the high bed without slipping and then clawing the bedding to pull themselves up and not fall

We purchased this item because our beagle is a wild child and hurt her bag and she runs around like she didnât strain her back so after making the purchase we trained her to use this for her to have some ease of movement when she does get up onto the bed or couch sheâs able to do it with safety. Itâs also build for ease of use and they made it with ease of movement in mind, foldability and softness all in one! 10/10 love this product and it allows my animals to get up onto the bed or couch with safety. This build quality met all expectations!

sturdy but difficult to assemble
as an owner of small dogs, it seems like iâm always buying stairs for every piece of furniture they decide is their new favourite spot all of a suddenthese stairs are impressively sturdy (more so than your average set of foam stairs) and i like the option of having five stairs since my bed is a bit tall and none of the three stair sets have reached the top of the mattressthe steps themselves are decently wide but not very deep so they are only really suitable for very small dogs. my two chihuahuas do fine and usuallyopt for the stairs over launching themselves onto the bed. however, my lab mix who has used other stairs with deeper steps without issue wonât use these stairs because of how shallow the steps aresubtracted a star for how weirdly difficult these stairs are to assemble. it is very hard to get the cover to fit over the largest piece of foam. in the end it took me 20-30mins to get the cover on and zipped shut. there was no way to get it on before the foam expanded from the vacuum sealed bag either; the foam expands pretty much instantlyhaving gotten the stairs assembled, iâm definitely happy with my purchase though. maybe with more than one person, assembly might be a bit easier

Purrr-chased for our aging kitty. Took a bit of effort to stuff the hi-dense foam into the fabric cover, but once that was done, it was ready to go. Fairly light, but doesn’t shift /move. Kitty loves it. No more groans jumping off the bed. On sale right now. ( we paid full price and still happy) We shall see how it stands up.
