Definitely more of a dog bed than just a mat. Outstanding! Dogs love it!
We have some giant dogs. The oldest boy is starting to have trouble with his hips. Our smallest dog is a female and is about 70lbs. Her nick-name is âJellyâ because she is jealous of everything. EVERYTHING. We have put a very large, soft bed in a couple of rooms for our geriatric boy. Miss Jelly has several places she claims as her own in each of those rooms â but she wants whatever the other dogs get first.Anyway, I ordered this âmatâ when I saw it to try and help her chill a bit over her dog bed issue. As soon as I opened this mat up and put it on the ground, she immediately laid down on it, even though it was a bit of a distance from where we usually sit, (she always wants to be as close to her people as she can be).When we received this wonderful dog bed, it was rolled up tight, with the air sucked out of the bag. I have some videos of it âgrowingâ into itsâ full size. After the mat fluffed up a bit, I realized it is far more substantial than I expected. I would not call this a mat, but instead it is very much more like a dog bed. Several of our dogs have tried it out so far and they love it.

The lab puppy is fine with the bed, our husky likes to eat it. We covered the pad with a zipping pillowcase and the issue is gone.Things to Note:Ensure the padâs 35â x 23â dimensions fit your dogâs crate or resting area. The pad we received actually measured 37″x24″ which does not fit in the crate unless the sides are bent up.This mat is thinner than traditional dog beds offering less comfort and cushioning. If you have a dog over 40 pounds you should provide something underneath this pad to support them.

Soft and comfortable
My Gracie loves her little pad! I don’t have a crate, but I was looking for a soft padding for her to lay down/sleep next to me when I sit in my favorite chair. I had several other soft paddings that she must not have found to her liking because she hardly ever laid on them. But as soon as I put this down next to my chair, she immediately laid down on it! I am so happy to have finally found a padding that she likes! She weighs 15 lbs so I got the 18″ x 24″ size and it’s a perfect fit. It’s not thick or heavy, which I think makes it more versatile, but it has just enough padding to be comfortable. And the top is SO soft and furry. The underside is a woven fabric, so it is reversible for summer use when a furry surface might be too warm. It’s not non-slip, so it works well on my carpet, but I’m not sure it would be advisable to use it or a hard surface floor. I like that it’s machine washable and dryable, though I haven’t had it long enough to put that to the test. When I do, I will update this review if there’s an issue. It came very well packed for shipping; it was shrink wrapped in plastic, rolled and tightly sealed in a plastic bag, then boxed in a perfectly sized box. I am very impressed with this soft and cozy padding and can highly recommend it.
