I have two of these. That says it all.
One of these is in the kid’s room, so the blind, arthritic cat can climb up on her bench to eat and be in the sunshine. She love it to death. Didn’t even have to train her. The other one is for the elderly chihuahua to get up on the couch and down. I put treats on the bottom until it was familiar, then worked my way up with goodies over 3 days until she went up and down a couple of times. Then I just left it there. Over a short period, she started using it all of the time. Now the fat, 40 pound mini shepherd uses it too, always launching off of it, and shoving it out of place when he does. So aside from having to constantly fix it when he’s done spring-boarding, it works wonderfully. I have a third one for the bed that’s higher. These work best for couches and lower things.

Great with one modification
I like that this is longer than most so the angle of the ramp isn’t so steep. I added two books, identical in thickness and width, in between the bottom of the foam and the fabric and zipped them up inside. This gives weight to the ramp and prevents it from moving. Otherwise there would be a gap between the ramp and the sofa because it moves slightly every time my dog gets on it. I would not have kept it if I did not have a solution for this because it could be dangerous.

Buy this if you have a small dog!
I purchased 3 smaller foam steps trying to block the bottom of my couch so my dauschund can’t jump off. I have a really low couch but she just had spinal surgery for IVDD and she isn’t to jump ever again. I wish I had bought these first!! And wish I could afford another one but the surgery was expensive and I have 3 other small ramps so…These are easy for her to navigate even with partial paralysis of her back legs while recovering. My large dog is 75ish pounds and he compresses the ramp but it springs right back up. Unsure how long it will last but he has broken 4!!!!!!!! Of the wood ramps because the are made of particle board and can’t handle a heavy dog even with claims they can. So big guy isn’t going to break this although I suppose he could chew it (hasn’t happened yet but he is a mouthy puppy so I am hoping it won’t happen). Unzip the ENTIRE bottom to put on the cover and it does go on really easy. Bounced open right out of the box with a bit more expansion over a few days. Pics of the total ramps so you can see the size compared. The brown and grey on ends are 12″ high and 16 long and wide. The other grey is 22 long 12 high, 16 wide. They are fine but because this item is longer, the ramp is gentler and much better for a small dog. Buy this!!! (Sorry my floor is dirty. I have 4 dogs, that is the cleanest it ever is)

Easy on petâs back and legs.
I have two senior chiweenies with spine issues. These steps are wonderful. So much easier that actual climbing out old pet stairs. They just walk right up into their favorite recliner. Perfect height.

Donât Order the Beige Color!
I have these dog steps in black and they are great! My dogs love them. I ordered the beige to go in a different room and the quality is terrible. I ordered 3 different ones trying to get one that isnât stained, but no luck. Back they all go! Such a bummer.

I bought this ramp for my new puppy! But older dog loves it more. They took right to it and never missed a beat. Perfect height for my couch nice looking donât look like a elephant in the living room. Oh they are small dogs 7&13 lbs. Does not slide around and so far the cover has not lost its shape. Makes a good leg rest for yourself. A win winð¥

For the dog AND for me.
My little senior bulldog gets up and down from the couch and the bed with this. She was very quick to start using it. It’s has a nice gentle slope to easily get her up or down. If she’s feeling spry, she can even run up it.I also find it great to stretch my back out on. I’ve got a little scoliosis and this thing can be utilized in a number of ways to stetch out. Really nice.

Think twice before ordering beige
It works well for my dachshund puppy, however I ordered beige. Got it and it was stained so I returned it and ordered another. Same problem. I’m keeping it because I care about her back, but that flaw keeps me from giving this more stars.
