    Great product!
I’ve been using this product for 24 years. My favorite thing in my shop. However it is very staining, so after the bleeding has stopped I usually use a dab of hydrogen peroxide to clean the fur around area.

    Nothing else works this well
We run a busy dog grooming shop, servicing on average 50 sets of doggie nails per day. While we try really hard to avoid quicking any nails, it does happen occasionally. This product stops any bleeding and brings some instant relief to our doggie clients. It goes on without caking and adheres well to the claw. Unlike others that we tried, it does not clump up in the container in a humid environment. It is not inexpensive; however, don’t waste your money trying other products (learn from my mistakes instead), buy this and you will not be sorry.

    Nail bleeding
I have purchased this because as I tend to cut my dogs toenails I have noticed that they tend to grow very and in very improper ways. So I do have to cut down and sometimes Nick the wick to keep them from growing into their pads. I hate doing that, but I really don’t have a choice because the dogs more in pain with that than they are if I cut them. This product works great and I know it’s not for everyone but if you are one that has to be able to or needs to be able to trim your animals nails. This is highly recommended.

A lifesaver if you groom your dog!
This is magic stuff that you must have if you have dogs. Especially if you cut their nails yourself. We have 2 small dogs that I groom myself and have cut a nail too short a few times. This powder instantly stops the bleeding and clots the nail as well as numbing it. Our vet recommended it and I am very pleased. Your pup will thank you!

    Perfect for at-home grooming
I have a Shiba Inu… enough said. He is very dramatic and does not appreciate a good groom. I purchased Kwik-Stop before even THINKING about trimming his nails. I knew with his lack of ability to sit still I would definitely need this. I did accidentally trim a nail too short and, yes, he made it an extra big deal. But with the Kwik-Stop powder, I was able to easily help him get some relief from the trim. The only thing that I wish was a little easier would be if the design of the bottle was a little thinner so it would be easier to place less on the nail. I originally thought about dipping the nail in, but I wouldn’t want to taint or affect any of the remaining powder. I had to pour a little out on the floor and help him coat his nail in it. It wasn’t a big deal and I’m sure this would be easier with dogs that are a little more willing to cooperate, but for me it was a little inconvenient in the moment. Otherwise, the powder works GREAT and I’m so happy I was able to help my pup get some relief.
