Best option if you donât want to modify you door
As title says best option of you donât want to modify your door or buy the other style thatâs very expensive. This is my second one due to me getting a new door wall . So hereâs a little trick for everyone it will require a little work but this will last for years to come if you do what I did . Mine lasted for 6 years . change out your screen to a pet screen donât keep the manufacturer screen . Donât try to press the side together it wonât work with the pet screen itâs just too thick your going to have to take a stably knife and get the male and female where they fit together out ⦠yes this sucks took me about 1hr but the results are great . Do this on the door as well easiest way to do this is on the floor so measure your dogs first . I have 2 labs and shepherd so 3â from right of the frame and 9â up worked from me . Amy ways once itâs mounted I took 4 small nuts and bolts at each corner to assure that this will not come apart and it has not due to these dogs running from the front of the house to the back at full speed to get a squirrel⦠if it can with stand these dogs every day for several years this way and your on the fence about it trust me you canât go wrong if your reading this . I get nothing from this company I just like to write good reviews for things that work all though they should do the 4 bolt thing in each corner or even retainer clips like what you see in cars good luck feel free to ask any questions as I have helped a few family members install theirs .

DIY Door – Durable and Dog Friendly
The Pet Door for Screen Door has made life with my dog a lot easier. It’s a simple and effective DIY solution for providing her with easy access in and out of the house without constantly opening the door. The installation process was straightforward, and it fits perfectly in the screen door. The lockable feature and magnetic automatic closing provide peace of mind and keep unwanted pests out. While I sometimes wish I could control when my dog goes out, overall, it’s been a practical addition that allows fresh air in and keeps her happy.

Great inexpensive option!
Ok, so the instructions are not super clear, but with a little common sense this is pretty easy to install. Took a little finagling, but you really don’t need an engineering degree or anything. I would suggest popping the whole thing together and using a sharp knife to cut the door section free. Didn’t take long for the dog to figure out. After some heavy use, the bolts started to wiggle free, but easy to put back together. Not the sturdiest option, but good value for the price.

Not as easy as it looks
We had to replace a different brand of screen door doggy door, and we had high hope that this one would be as efficient and easy to install. It wasnât. Once I rescreened the door (damaged when the old door broke), it looked pretty straightforward. – not so much. Lining up the screen cut out on the flap wasnât terrible to do, but lining it up with the frame and pounding the two sides together wasnât as easy as you would think and having to GLUE them together with (not supplied) crazy glue was not ideal . We ended up using a rubber mallet to gently pound the sides together but the flap does not fit the opening well, leaving a fair size gap all around. There is no mention of the magnets which were loose in the package, and, subsequently, the flap does not close perfectly, as it would hopefully have done, had the magnets been glued onto the door/flap. I tried to see where they would go and show they would work with the flap, but I was unsuccessful. The flap does close, but not as snugly as I would have hoped. The doggy door does work, but this is not a particularly well made set up. I would not recommend this – find a different brand.

Worth the effort
I placed this in a screened-in porch so that my dogs could go out into a fenced in area of the yard. Since I could not remove the screen for installation, it was probably more challenging to do than if the screen could be placed flat on a hard surface. We ended up having one person on the outside hold a piece of plywood against it, and another inside the screen tapped the inside edge with a rubber mallet to try to seat the pegs that hold the two sides together. It was very hard initially to line the two sides up exactly so that the pegs were in the right places while trying to seat them. While not easy once installed, and all the pegs snapped tightly, it is sturdy and even my hard-headed (and blind) Cattle Dog has not been able to unseat it. My dogs are all small to medium and fit the opening well. It was installed in a lower corner as close as possible to the screen edges, similar to the picture on the listing. Apart from the difficulty of installing it, this has been a great product, and made it safer and more convenient for my dogs to go out when they want to.

Dumbest design ever
This dog door should not be as difficult as it is to install. Iâve put it off for so long because every single time I go to install it Iâm reminded of what a pain it is. There should be corks on one side and holes on the other for a 100% easier installation but instead on both sides they alternate between cork and hole making it impossible to clip together let alone get the actual door in. Itâs flimsy, requires gorilla glue? And the screen doesnât come with it. Donât buy this.

Se instalaron en mi puerta de mosquitero con un profesional y las dejo de maravilla. Mi perrita aprendió rápido a pasar por ellas. Funcionan muy bien. Me encantan.

The clip of the door does not hold well, I drilled holes and added screws with bolts to strengthen and hold the door. with the screws this door is ideal and lasts long.

It is a good product . My dobberman is slightly big but manages to use this door. While going out he pulls theentire net screen door with him

Dog tore it off the first time he used it. Set it up again using some superglue. Dog tore it off again. Should have known better than to assume a screen door could support a dog door.

Plus besoin d’ouvrir et fermer la porte pour mon jeune chien. Il adore s’assoir sur la galerie et entrer/sortir de la maison à sa guise. L’article s’installe bien. Bon achat à prix raisonnable
