Great buy for cats!
Purchased the gate for my 6 month old kitten after her spaying to prevent her from being overly active during the healing process. Her and her brother do not like being separated to different rooms (tried it with her brother after his neutering, it so stressful for everyone in the house and the bathroom he destroyed). It’s heavy but not too bad (watch the fingers!), so I am hoping that means it is decent quality. The size is great for a full size litter box, with enough space for her to lay around and I did lay down in it to cuddle with her with room. The topper was difficult to put on but it was worth it because it was taut enough that her brother would walk and lay across it. It is double secure with hooks and thick velcro. The only down side(really not that bad, just a little weird) was the locking mechanism they use to keep the ends together, which did the job just fine but they used bolt snaps. The bolt snaps made it easy to put on and remove though. So all and all we are happy with the purchase and the price. Will be purchasing the bottom liner in the future out door adventures.

Excellent protection for puppies
This is very sturdy and the cover is well constructed and easy to apply. We have hawks on the area and this protected our puppy. It also provided great shade in the summer.

Great for multiple uses
I bought this to be an enclosure for very small kittens that I did not want to give total unrestricted access to until they were a little more grown. It worked wonderfully for that purpose. Since that time, I have also used it as an enclosure for baby chicks while they explore the grass a little and bunnies. Cover allows extra protection for animals that may jump or fly out and also provides protection from above. The openings are small enough that small animals cannot get in or out. However, he cover is difficult to put on. You need to almost sit inside the enclosure and strap it on and then crawl out so that it is properly secured. The end pieces are also not that secure once the entire enclosure is put together. I was able to solve this by using a few zip ties to ensure it did not come apart.Pros: Sturdy, cover, small openings, portable, folds up small for storageCons: Hard to put cover on on, needs additional help for secure enclosed edges

I purchased this play yard for some puppies that came into my dog rescue/sanctuary. The product is great & easy to assemble however the clips to join it together leave a lot to be desired.
