No Byproducts
I love this dog food. Yes you will be paying a little more than other dog food. But you are paying for a better dog food for your pet. It has no byproduct s. My dog was shedding, badly ,year around with her other dog food. Once I switched to Nutro she only sheds a little during the shedding season.

I had tried a few different brands for my dog, some that were much more expensive, ones that âseemedâ healthier or organic. My dog would look at the food, sniff it and walk away. I tried adding in squash, real chicken breast, meal mixers, organic chicken broth etc. He would literally pick the dog food out and put it on the floor next to his dish and eat only what he wanted of the mix ins.I brought him to the vet and while he was otherwise healthy the vet said he was a little too thin. I felt absolutely terrible! So finally after doing some research online I found Nutro.It seemed to have good ingredients which was very important to me and had good reviews from other pet owners.First I started him off on the wet food only (he loved that) but I wanted him to also get the benefits for his teeth eating dry food so Iâd mix the wet and dry together, he loved that. One day I had ran out of the wet food and only had the dry. I figured heâd probably sniff it and walk away. To my surprise he ate the dry food no problem! He has now been eating the regular Nutro kibble with no wet ingredients everyday for the past 2 months. Iâm so happy as I love to see him happy and it saves us money so he can get more toys! Lol.His last visit to the vet, the doctor was so impressed with his perfect weight, shiny coat and clean teeth!If you have a picky eater give Nutro a try!

This is my first time trying this brand of dog food and so far my pug loves it. He eats his food so fast and actually enjoys it. I’m glad I change to this brand. Also like that it’s non gmo and the ingredients is way better then the other brand I was using. Only thing i dislike is that it’s expensive for this little 5lb bag. Definitely will buy again next month.

My Pup is healthy & loves it!
I have a 3 year old 9.5lb HavaPoo and he has been on Nutro Small Breed since he came off his puppy food. He is healthy, perfect weight, and the vet says he is in tip top shape. He is a little bulldozer and loves to play and this food gives him the nutrition and energy to play all day – with his daytime naps in between of course! I feed him a heaping ¼C 2x a day, morning and dinner time with just a few crunchy natural dog treats throughout the day. And because the food is low bulk and formulated specifically for small breeds, you get more bang for your buck, so the price isn’t off setting. My little guy deserves the best nutrition and he loves the flavor too. Highly recommend!

While the price is right, and quality is good overall, the bag’s resealable closure ripped away from the packaging the first time I opened the bag, and out of all the cat food and dog food bags I have in the house, my cat only attacked this bag and chewed holes through the packaging…which may be that my cat can smell through the bag but not the others, and I’m not sure why he went for the dog food in the first place…maybe that’s a good sign regarding the food? lol

I adopted a little Pomeranian dog back in may 2021 who was 6 years old with a mangled patchy coat and seriously underweight @ 2 lbs and all bones. I tried many brands of foods to get her to eat and gain healthy weight. This is the only food I have found that she will eat. After comparing many expensive brands of small breed dog food ingredients and trying her on those brands I am happy to report that because of this brand small breed dog food my little doggie is back to a healthy weight @5.4 lbs and her fur has grown back silky long and beautiful! So over the moon with this product I could not sing its praises enough! Thank you! 🙂
