Second best favorite
I purchased these to be used indoors in my camper, but wanted something indoor outdoor so they would be easier to clean. I have two large dogs, a purebred Labrador Retriever and a German Shepard Great Pyranese mix. They are both also senior dogs who spend most time sleeping, with trouble getting up. These beds are big enough (which always seems to be a concern), thick enough to seem comfortable, and easy to vacuum every day. The covers are easily removed, are a sturdy water repellant type of material, and are easily washable and easy to put back together. I took them outside a few times with no concerns. Highly recommended!

Love this dog bed!
My dog loves this bed. I bought two. One for the RV and one for home. I can also take it outside for her when we have a campfire. Very easy to put together. Good quality. Easy to wipe clean if needed. My dog weighs 100 pounds and the thickness comfortably supports her; it does not completely flatten under her weight. I even laid on it for a few seconds to feel the comfort. It’s great!

Overall good crate pad
My dog likes to scratch to make her “bed” and the cover has some big pulls in it (and it didn’t take long to get them). Overall, though, it’s a nice crate pad for her crate. I love that the cover is washable because she’s older and sometimes has accidents, and it does a good job keeping the moisture off of the foam inside.

Great waterproof cover and tough
These beds are true to their description, waterproof and hold up exceptionally well in a boarding kennel environment. The cover is easy to hose off or scrub if needed and does not get smelly. Support is good and sizing fits most crate and kennel sizes.

The dogs love it and so do I!
Our dogs have a RARE accident so I was looking for a bed that was more waterproof than the one I had. Plus their beds get so stinky so often so I needed to replace their current bed anyways. This bed is listed at a great price for the size. It was easy to unbox and set up by one person. I love how it is almost repelling their fur and they both can fit on it.Pros:- Easy to set up- Very affordable for size- Thick cover that is easy to clean and basically repels hair. I have not had to vacuum it once yet.- The dogs clearly love it as you can see in the photo- It fits both my 70lb dogs on it (even though they fight over it sometimes)Cons:- I am unsure if it is truly waterproof yet. The cover does not repel water so I worry if any is soaking through to the foam

Pro tip for chewers: but the bumpy side down
I was looking for a more durable canvas type bed to put in my 10 month old gsd/malinois new larger crate that also had more cushion than your typical crate pads as I recently started EMT school where Iâm gone 10 hours/2x a week (Iâm not cruel theyâve got a sitter who comes mid day) & originally I got a soft cloth covered one that he ripped up the first day. So back on the hunt we went for something better.I stumbled across this one & it immediately stuck out because of the price being much more affordable than the rest! The reviews kinda scared me but I decided what the heck letâs try it. Upon unboxing the foam part was rolled up & wrapped in 2 layers of plastic encased in an extra thin black fabric layer that stays on (see pic). The second I started opening it I could hear it expanding & it was at almost full size with the crease gone in under an hour (NOTE: I live in Florida & foam expands quicker in warmer temperatures). It is indeed the full 3.5 inches, very comfortable & I am happy with it! The black fabric itâs in seems to have a bit of waterproofing ability itself but the outer cover is the true gem!! If you watch my video you can see how truly waterproof it is; I was impressed. It should hold up to some scratching & teeth (my dogs nails arenât sharp though) but of course if your dog really wanted to rip it up they could itâs still just fabric so letâs be reasonable. Also pro tip: I put the bumpy egg side DOWN. My boy has never ripped up a thin smooth crate mat & when he did the first cloth covered egg mat I was confused. It dawned on me that while he was getting anxious awaiting my arrival home the bumps became a tactical distraction almost as if it became a toy & there was something under there he could chew on. With the smooth side up I have had zero problems of him even thinking of chewing it. Not saying itâll work for every dog but worth a try!Lastly I want to say bc I saw a dumb bad review about it not being weatherproof bc her dog peed on it & it smelled like pee afterwards⦠pee isnât water it has enzymes in it. So of course itâs gonna smell like pee if you donât properly clean it with an enzymatic cleaner⦠be smarter people than that people lol.

Waterproof? Yes. Resistant to urine smell? NO
Guess we are buying yet another bed.We have a 15 yr old dog who has been a picky dude since he was a pup, and he was not a fan of this material. Weâve always gotten him those plush, sherpa type beds, but recently hes been having a lot of overnight accidents, so we needed something we could easily wipe clean.Because of the outside material, any blanket that lays on top of it would easily slide off with the slightest movement causing the pup and us to constantly readjust its position. After awhile he would just kick the blankets off the bed and sleep on the floor. The second con is that although the cover is truly waterproof, you canât just wipe up the pee (with a pet urine remover spray) and be done with it, it truly requires a machine wash each time, which was something we were trying to avoid. Also, the smell of his urine seeped deep into the foam and was impossible to get out. After a few accidents, spraying the foam and hours of washing the cover, the smell still lingered and the bed just became a giant nuisance. We tried every which way to make this bed work for us with no luckâ¦bummer.
