   Still holding up!
   I was surprised at how easy it was to put this on my screen door. The screws were pretty small, but other than that they lined up well with the second side and the nut that came with it. I was even more surprised to realize that with having four boxer dogs zipping in and out through the pet door, that now a year and a half later, the door is still doing great!My older dog took a little bit of time learning to go through the door. At first, I just kept the flap off. Later, I added it on, and would lift the flap for her to go through and let the flap lay on her back as she passed. The younger dogs picked it up right away!I do recommend this product. I actually purchased two. One for each screen door.

   Easy Solution for Doggy Door
   This is an excellent choice if you’re looking for an easy-to-install doggy door. Installation was a breeze, and the door fits securely without drilling or altering your home.We have medium-sized and larger dogs, and they use it without issues. It took them about a week to get the hang of it, but with some encouragement and treats, they now use it confidently. It fits right into your screen.The convenience this door provides is unmatched. It has made letting the dogs in and out so much easier, and it’s a fantastic solution for renters or anyone not ready to commit to a permanent pet door. Highly recommended for pet owners looking for a simple, effective, non-invasive option!

   Would like a clear door alternative
   Door was easy to install and is sturdy and hard for anything like a pest to get in, but the paw print is very intrusive in a white kitchen and it casts a large shadow on our floor because our patio door is in sunlight. The husky goes through after encouragement but after 2 weeks, the border collie is still afraid of the dark color and won’t push it.

   Solid door and good size
   I have a Boston Terrier (30lbs, about 11 or 12 inches tall) and this door is perfect. I had ordered a few other brands in the past and the ones they recommended for her size were always small, hard to install, and didn’t have much sturdiness to them. This one is the best I’ve used by far and she actually trusts going in and out with no apprehension.Assembly isn’t hard, but if you use “pet proof” screen on your door, then the clip on feature (to align before using the bolts) doesn’t work well because the screen is made to not allow punctures. That was my only issue, but I simply aligned it, used a sharp pointed object to set the bolt hole, put in the bolts, then worked on gently sealing the gate onto the screen. Finished it up by tightening the bolts and it’s been super sturdy since the install.The other item I like is that the bolts you use don’t protrude out and snag on anything (other sliding door parts or people), which is nice. The clips to lock the door work fine for my dog as well so the door overall is pretty seamless to the existing slider.The only item I would consider a concern is the long term durability of the screen that is placed in the footprint cutout in the door. My dog doesn’t scratch at it very hard and while she learned to use it there have been only light paw pushes on that middle area, but I can see it bulging a bit here and there. Will keep an eye on that over time as it doesn’t look like it’s ripping or anything, but I’d expect that to stay a bit more taut since it’s the designated push location for the dog.Overall, great product so far and worth the money!

   Finally my dogs stopped popping the patio screen
   I was a bit skeptical about this product because it mounts to the existing patio screen (not the frame of the screen patio). I was not sure how it was going to be held up. But surprisingly after a few months now, it doing great and my dogs finally learned to use it instead of popping the screen patio. The installation was pretty simple, just cut the patio screen with the supplied template and secure the screen door with the supplied screws (which are very tiny).

   Broke our door.
   It worked well for a day. Then our 65-lb dog got excited and ran through it, ripping the screen door off the tracks and breaking the screen. This product needs better installation instructions in order to individualize installation to the size of each dog. The instructions show the door installed at the very bottom of the door, and while we raised it higher than that to compensate for our dog’s height, we now think we should have raised it even higher. Although it’s honestly kind of short for a lab-sized dog, even though we got the large size. A couple more inches of height on this product would make a huge difference.

   Dogs love it!
   So, my dogs have always been using doggie doors. This one, since it blends with the black screen, took them a minute to learn. It was hard for them to tell it was there. But, after a couple days, they got it down. Installation was a snap.

   The screen doggie door works amazing for our dog. He can go in and out when he needs to. This product is very strong and is easy to install.We would definitely recommend this product to any pet owner.

    Happy with the purchase. Easy to install. My cats have used to it as the door is not heavy. However, the magnets work perfectly to keep it close even when is windy

    I bought the large size for my Australian Shepherd and my Beagle and they both fit through fine, I wouldn’t get a smaller size for them. A few minutes with some treats is all it took for them to figure it out. It’s been installed for three months now and I love the freedom it gives us and our dogs.I wish the magnets were a bit stronger, or the door was a bit heavier as I have noticed that a strong wind will open the door. The price is reasonable and it is easy to install. I chose it over others because I liked that it attaches with screws rather than just glue. Although I preferred the look of the dog doors with just simple frames, I chose this model so that an excited, high speed dog could clearly see where to blast through the screen.We wondered if the dogs might be inclined to crash through screen doors that don’t have a pet flap, but they just look confused that they can’t get out on their own!A couple times in the first month our young dog ran through so fast that the flap popped off the frame. The flap was easy to put back in and it is better that the flap pop off rather than the screen being ripped by the force of a dog blasting through. Over time, the plastic flap has bent slightly. I was concerned this might create a gap that would let flies into the house but we have not had more flies or mosquitoes than usual in the house. We live in the country, where there are tons of mosquitoes!I took this video on the first day, after a few trial runs.

    The Ownpets Pet Screen Door with Locking Feature is fantastic. It’s easy to install, well-made, and aesthetically pleasing. The magnetic close works perfectly, and my medium sized English Springer Spaniel dog loves it.
