Working wonders with my very vocally protective puppy
I havenât even had this product a full week, and itâs completely turned things around. I spend a lot of time in my backyard, and my 7 month old pup loves joining me. Our backyard is bordered by four other neighborsâ backyards, with each owning at least one dog. This stirs up all the trouble, and itâs enough to drive anybody crazy.I bought the two collar/one remote pack, because I often watch my brotherâs pup (my girlâs little half-sister), and I have yet to try it on her, but Iâm excited based on the results Iâve seen on my dog.Both the collars and the remote are well made and sturdy. I did have to cut the collar to fit, and I recommend burning the cut edge to seal the threading. I went to charge the collars when they arrived, before checking the level as directed, and realized they came fully charged, which is always a plus.Iâve only ever had to press the button a dozen times or so. I think the sound is attention getting, but it doesnât make her stop her nonsense and retreat, as well as the vibration does. I havenât felt the need to do the combination of the two, and based on how well things are going, I donât know if that need will arise. The first few times I used it, I had to use it more than once for each âpunishmentâ as she stopped a few times on her way back to me (and this was advised in the instructions). Now I only ever have to press it once, and most of the time, I just have to pick up the remote if my vocal command isnât working, and she recognizes the sound and/or visual of me picking it up, and dashes right on over. At this point, she doesnât even need to have the collar on, to get the message that itâs time to move on. For those of you with intelligent and stubborn dogs, this is magic.I was concerned that it might still hurt my pup, even without the shock or prongs. Luckily, it doesnât hurt her, and Iâve never heard even a yelp of surprise. I think it genuinely just confuses and distracts her. Her reaction is usually to leave the area immediately and make her way to me.One problem arose early in use, which I think could be solved by not being as clumsy as me, or there being a lock option once you choose a power level. I had the power level set to 1, and when I went to use it for the vibrate setting, I accidentally toggled the button that lowers the power level, which made it go to the highest level (9), and I confused the living daylights out of my poor pup, on the first or second use of the vibration setting. Since being more careful and confirming better before I hit the action button, I havenât had this problem again, but I think itâs important to be aware of. Outside of this mistake, Iâve only ever had to use level 1.Overall, Iâm extremely happy and relieved to have found this product. I bought one of those ultrasonic noise flashlight devices, and it worked the first few times, but quickly became something she easily ignored, and it becomes ineffective when sheâs out of range or eyesight.This works even when sheâs out in the backyard, and Iâm inside the house with the doors closed. I finally enjoy sitting in the backyard again, with my beautiful little lady at my side. Iâm excited to see how it helps as I continue her training. Bless the makers of this product, truly.

Very nice collar
Out of the box, this collar was easy to set up and use. The tones are nice and they are loud enough. The vibration range is satisfactory and after one correction, my dog did not bark in the house the rest of the day. The collar was easy to adjust, fits nicely and I think it is comfortable for the dog since it doesn’t have prongs. If this collar had an auto mode that would allow me to set correction that would work when I’m away from the house, I would have given it 5 stars. Since I can’t find a collar without prongs that has an auto mode, this is the next best thing. I would definitely buy it again. Hopefully it will last for a while.

Love it for recall training
Our expensive ecollar broke and we wanted a replacement that wasnât insanely priced. We only used the vibrate function on our e collar (the shock did nothing to teach our dog. The vibrate is so much more effective!) so this collar was perfect for us. Has different vibrate patterns and sound patterns. When we need our dog to come back to us we hold down the vibrate button until he comes back to us and sits by us. This collar is perfect for that and easy to use. Highly recommend!

It’s pretty effective
I’ve tried several versions of the beep/vibrate collars, I even had one that did use shock but I hated it because it was too difficult to set the level at a low level so I didn’t harm my dog.I needed to replace our current beep/vibrate collars because they got wet when they were swimming, even though they have a little cover over the port that’s supposed to keep water out (it didn’t work). I had had them for a while so I decided to look for a new model.These work surprisingly well with a relatively low tone even. I excepted the “beep” option to be much louder but it is pretty low yet my dog hates it, so it helps him listen to me better. He is one who will listen to me until he doesn’t want to listen and wants to go chase a squirrel instead. He comes back to me often now without even beeping/buzzing, I just call his name and he comes back.We have a 2nd dog who eats stuff all the time that he’s not supposed to so this is handy when we’re at the dog park.My only complaint is that it beeps when you turn them on and off! So if your dogs are in the room they’re going to think they did something wrong. This was an issue I had with 2 sets of my other collars too, they would beep when I would put them on the charger though, not when turning them on/off.My solution has been to just keep them on all the time. The battery life lasts surprisingly long. I could charge them every 3 weeks or so and they work fine. They only wear the collars for an hour or so when we’re out or at the dog park, but I just leave them turned on all the time.

It works for smaller dogs with the Educator ET-400
Finally something that fits my 11.5LB Malshi. We are training with the Educator ET-400, and I wanted a easy snap collar (we bought the Educator 3/4″ Biothane Bungee Quick Snap Collar 11.5â-24â) It was to big on the tightest setting (also kinda heavy) THEY HAVE A SMALLER SIZE ON THE EDUCATOR WEBSITE, BUT NOT AMAZON AND IF YOUR WORKING WITH A TRAINER NO ONE HAS TIME FOR 3-5 DAY SHIPPING.This collar fits, it is lighter, and also has the quick snap. So for all the little dogs ð get this. Itâs bad enough they have to learn to walk with a new weird box around their neck. The collar should fit, and be as comfortable as possible while training ð

Stopped working after 10 days
Bought this 10 days ago, one collar has lost the âbeepâ function completely. Tried recharging it and connecting again. Nothing we do will get it to bone back.

fit both collars. Only negative is that perhaps can not make as tight as easily as with conventional pin/hole type buckle. Have used however with both land/water training and have worked fine.
