Cute and Functional Dog House
This dog house by Pawhut is perfect for dogs less than 60lbs. The house is shipped in two separate boxes and comes with all the hardware and instructions to put it together. Installation is very straightforward and it took me about 30 minutes to put together. The dog house is decent size and has two entrances. One being through the patio into the main part of the dog house. One wall section was damaged but I was able to fix it with some wood glue and a clamp. The broken part is hidden from view anyway. The roof is plywood with a composite, asphalt coated roof shingles. I noticed that one of the roof shingles had a hole in it and the shingles are delaminating from the plywood. This happened within 72 hours of receiving the product. With a price of over $300.00 I would expect better quality. The dog house was in the rain one night and it did not leak. I would recommend making sure the roof cap is centered when screwing it in. Enjoy!

2 year update
STILL HOLDING UP STRONG!I went ahead and used Henryâs waterproofing around where the roof meets the sides. Also covered all the screws on the roof with it. Highly recommend so this thing last a long time and does not get water damage.

Just okay
While it is quick and easy to assemble, the pics make it look much better quality than it is. Wood is cheap and it’s barely primed. Highly recommend painting it. For the price, I’m pretty disappointed but it’s together and the dogs are already enjoying it.

I canât believe this the roof leaks I was confused why itâs leaking, so I felt underneath the roof it feels like itâs cardboard I spent so much money on this what is wrong with people taking advantage! Congrats! You found another sucker! Karma will catch up with this company that makes it!

I put this together by myself. All I needed was a drill. A Phillips screw driver will work. The walls are already put together which makes it so easy to assemble. Just follow the steps one by one. Itâs so easy. The roof has shingles to prevent from rotting from rain. The floor is not too sturdy. This is made for a small dog. A large dog would be too heavy. My dog is only 7lbs so itâs perfect for her.

Nice design with Cheap Materials
Overall, I like this dog house. It was easy to assemble and it took me about 30 mins.However the materials did not look that sturdy and waterproof except the roof, so I added eight 2-inch wheels to move more easily and also painted the walls to make sure it is rainproof.
