Cute mini dog kennel
There wasnât instructions but it was self explanatory on how to put it up. You donât need to put it together. But in order to set it up the metal top pieces that click are really hard to get them to click and with too much more force would cause the metal to bend. Once it is up, itâs hard to take down because of how the brackets click so Iâm not sure the kennel we got could be used to go places with us. It does appear to be sturdy. It also would work really good for cats and the top can zip close. It comes with a sleeve to put the kennel in once you fold it up.

Really nice collapsible dog crate.
I have two hard-sided crates I currently use, but I have not been happy with the difficulty of collapsing them for travel or storage. I decided to try this crate because it is big enough for both my dogs, but not too big when collapsed for storage either in a closet at home or in my car. I think the size is generous – this medium works well for my two 20 lb dogs, but you can also get it in large if needed. It literally takes less than a minute to fold or unfold and wasn’t hard to fit back in the carrying case afterwards, just follow the collapsing order in the instructions. The mesh sides are great for air flow, but I feel a determined dog with sharp claws or teeth could scratch or chew his way out of it. I like the option of top loading or front loading depending on your situation or space. It comes with a slightly padded mat for the bottom of the crate which uses velcro to attach at the four corners, but it doesn’t really fit precisely and my dog was able to dig it loose immediately. I will probably just add some other pad or blankets for softness. That aside, this is a really good dog crate with strong collapsible joints. It comes with an easy to pack and carry soft zippered nylon case. It didn’t look like wouldn’t be easy to get the crate and padding back in the carrying bag, but it was suprisingly quite simple.

This item would be great if it worked like it was supposed to. It was easy to open, almost like a pop up tent, EXCEPT when I got the 1st one I ordered opened, it was lopsided because one of the support legs was an inch shorter than the other 3. Amazon quickly sent me a replacement, but it was defective also. On the 2nd one, it was one of the cross bars on top that was again too short. Because of that, the bar wouldnât lock into place. Since these bars are machine cut by the hundreds, I canât understand how this problem could have repeatedly happen, in 2 different areas of the playpen, without someone catching the error, and correcting it. Since itâs Amazon policy not to ship a product a third time after 2 product problems, I emailed the manufacturer explaining both problems with the 2 playpens hoping they would correct the problem, and send me a good playpen. But the manufacturer never bothered to reply to me. I really wanted this playpen for my new puppy, but with the manufacturerâs lack of response to my email, and them not seeming to have any quality control over the length of the aluminum support bars used in this product, Iâm reluctant to try a 3rd time. So if your considering this playpen, I just wanted you to be aware of the problems I had with this product.
