Customers find the animal stairs easy to assemble with no tools needed. They appreciate the sturdy build quality and solid feel of the ramp. Many find the size suitable for their pets, with a nice width that provides a good grip. While some customers are satisfied with the quality and lightweight design, others dislike the steep incline. There are mixed opinions on the slipperiness of the stairs.

Best ramp . Recommended..Saved my old dogs knees & my back
Perfect! Finally found what I’ve been looking for. The surface on this ramp has great traction too. I think maybe mine was an odd model because, instead of regular carpet which I find slippery, I got one with a rougher covering , it almost looks like sponge but isDurable. My dogs don’t slip so they are not afraid of it. We LOVE this ramp and I don’t know What you get when you order now butIF you have a choice get the ROUGH Surface.Update: almost 1 year later and we still love our combo ramp! It has held up well but my dogs are 20-25 lbs. I just wanted to respond to some customers who complained about these ramps NOT having a carpeted surface because it does, it’s just a different type . I much prefer this new type because it is rough and gives them a great grip which is helpful for my older dogs who are sometimes a bit wobbly. I can see where it would be a problem for cats though. I don’t know if it’s random which style you get now because I got one and sent it back because it had the other carpet ( indoor/ outdoor type) and they found it too slippery. I was thrilled when I took a chance on one in Warehouse Deals and got the “ rough” one.**A solution would be for the company to offer their product with a CHOICE of either style carpet surface.

    Very useful for aging pets
My poor old Corgi has always gotten more use out of the sofa than I do, and I didn’t have the heart to ban her from it once arthritis set in and she couldn’t jump up onto it. Worse, if she did manage to get up, she was unable to land carefully when she jumped down. This ramp is just the right height to use with a couch, but it is a little bit steep. I also have the Pet Gear Easy Step II Pet Stairs, and that has turned out to be just right right combination. Molly uses the steps to get up and the ramp to get down. Both of these items are lightweight and very portable. They’re heavy enough to stay in place while the dog is using them, but light enough to pick up and move readily when cleaning (or expecting company to whom I don’t want to admit that the couch is mostly for the dog). The carpet hides dirt well, but also removes easily for washing. Both the steps and the ramp snap together, although you might want a rubber mallet since it’s a little hard to get the posts into the holes all the way (which you’d want it to be so that they stay together solidly). It’s tricky to find steps that work well for Corgis, since they have long, heavy bodies but short legs. These are just right, but are definitely for small to medium-size dogs; neither the steps nor the ramp is deep or wide enough for big dogs.Meanwhile, the cats love the ramp, too. None of them have the slightest trouble getting onto the couch, but they really like using the ramp. I guess, being cats, they just prefer the easy way.

    Queen Floof Approved!
My pomeranian, the cherished Queen Floof, turned 12 this year. As a little old lady, she moves a bit slower and has trouble jumping like she used to. Worse still, she hurt her back and was confined to a large kennel for a week and a half so that she could heal. When released from fluffle jail, she was further upset that we tried to keep her off the furniture so that she wouldn’t get hurt again by jumping down. She would have none of that because she is the queen and gets to go where she wants, when she wants. Now, she was smart enough that she wouldn’t jump up. Instead she would bark at us until we picked her up and set her beside us. The problem, though, was that she would jump down if we weren’t giving her royal highness her due belly rubs and ear scritches, and even if she hadn’t had a hurt back, she’s at that age where it’s bad for her little knees and hips, too. So we had to try to predict when she would want down and set her down in advance, which we were able to do 95% of the time, but it only takes one bad landing for things to go south. We got this ramp with hopes that the Queen Floof would use this instead of leaping off furniture. We got one for the couch and one for a chair in another room that she has designated as her own.It took her a couple days to trust the ramps, but now she goes up and down them without issue! Her back is healed up, she can sit on her throne at her leisure without barking for her humble servants to pick her up, and our stomachs don’t lurch when she gets down unexpectedly. The ramps are fantastic too. They’re lightweight, but sturdy, and easy to put together and move. I have stubbed my toes on the ramps a few times, but it’s a small price to pay to see my adorable Queen Floof happy and healthy.

Pretty good but could use some modifications
I’ve had this for about 14 months now and it sees everyday use by a dachshund and two chihuahua. One of my chihuahuas is 19 and can make it up this ramp but it is a bit steep, they sort of have to launch up the ramp and not stop. The structure is sturdy and i like that it is light and hollow but doesnt slide around. My biggest complaint is that after a year the mats are completely shredded and pieces of it are all over my house. I came on here to buy replacement mats but seems there is nothing? You’d think if they sold a product with a removeable mat they’d sell replacements. :/ That being said, not the worst for 14 months of use.

    Sturdy
Non slip and my 20 pound dog feels safe using this to get up and down the car. It’s light weight and needs minimal effort to put it together Stores well.

    Ottimo

Demasiado rígida y resbaladiza, debería ser más felixible y amortiguar más los golpes.

Great ramp for my pack of 5 Dachshunds. Easy to assemble and dogs took to it straight away. Supertrax attached matting seems to provide great grip though early days to see if it wears well. Would like to find out if a UK supplier is able to get replacement matting if needs be.
