The Pet Gear Travel Lite Bi-Fold Pet Ramp with supertraX allows your pet easy access into your vehicle or other hard to reach places with a better grip than ever before. The removable supertraX mat is pressure activated, meaning your pet will easily be able to grip into the mat, simply by putting weight on it. The supertraX mat is much preferred to other types of carpet treads because it allows your pet’s paws to have a greater surface area contact with the ramp, creating greater stability. The mat is also removable for easy cleaning. Bottom grippers and included safety tether help the ramp maintain in a steady position. The ramp has a built-in carry handle for easy transportation and a bi-fold design which reduces storage space.

Easy to Use Sturdy
This ramp is a great alternative to letting your old dog try to jump up into your car or you have to pick your dog up. It fits up against the foot rail or if no foot rail it lines up well with the car door entry. My old girl with a treat learned to use it after 2 attempts. She was a little timid at first but after the first walk up voila!! she was a pro:) Light weight, folds up easily, no skid mat as dog goes up the ramp, and no movement on the part of the ramp. My dog is medium weight, 36 pounds, so rather than pick her up every time we go out inthe car I use the ramp now. Great buy.

Ford F-150 Short ramp works well for small dogs
Purchased this as our beagle has hurt herself a few times leaping out of the back seat area of our 2017 F-150. I purchased it used through Amazon for 50% off the regular price. It was a bargain for sure. It came in its original box and wrapping along with instructions. It was in new condition. This is the smallest ramp and because it’s only 41 inches it’s a bit steep and clearance is tight but that doesn’t seem to be much of an issue for our small beagle. We trained her to use it by tossing treats inside the truck and then on the ground. She was tentative at first but after a few times she knew what was expected and went up and down with no issues. It is a tight fit but because she’s small the door opening complaint I read in other reviews wasn’t an issue. Keep in mind it only works with our truck with the rear seat folded up. May not work as well with the longer ramp and larger dogs because of the door clearance. It folds and unfolds easily for quick storage. I lay it by the window and our dog uses it as a platform that raises her up a bit so she can see out the window better. Dual purpose. I rated it 4 stars because of the tight clearance.

Excellent dog ramp
This dog ramp is VERY sturdy, and holds the weight of large dogs (even me) easily. It is very compact for storage with easy folding system and locking latches. Built in braces, hooks and straps provide easy connection. The length is just right adapting to both low and high surfaces. The green turf-like pad provides excellent traction. My 80 lb dog was a little hesitant at first to use it, but once she became familiar with practice using treats and praise, she has no problems now.

kinda narrow
if i use it on the hatch back of my suv it is steep and narrow, if i use it in the car door there is nothing to clip on to so i have to stand next to it to hold it and the dog has a hard time seeing a path between me and the car door. its sturdy enough but needs a better way to attach to the door so i don’t need to stand so close to it

Great with some reservations
I think this ramp is great except for the fact that it’s impossible to secure it to the car. For that reason, I wrote “great with some reservations” in the headline, meaning that the ramp is useful but that safety needs to be a top priority when the dog is on the ramp. Safety is a concern with other ramps, as well, since some of the breeds tend to distrust the ramp and will try to jump off or may even fall off due to nervousness.I bought the ramp used from the Amazon Warehouse. It was advertised as “Used – Like New.” In my opinion, that means “mint” condition. I think it would have been more accurate to describe it as “Used – Very Good” because it did show signs of wear. All of that aside, the ramp is exactly what I needed. My 30 lb. Sheltie is a therapy dog and no longer likes to jump up into the car as she did when she was younger. She is too heavy for me to lift into the car on our weekly trips to hospitals, schools, and nursing homes.Having read that some people use treats to get a dog to walk on the ramp, I tried a different approach and used treats after she had walked up the ramp and after she had walked down the ramp. I opened the driver’s side door and propped the curved section of the ramp on the rim of the car door opening, taking care that it was sturdily in place. I then grasped my dog by the collar and gently walked her up into the front seat and repeated the process back down. We did this twice and then I rewarded her with her favorite treat. I repeated the training in the same way for the next two days. By the third day, she was running up and down the ramp with little assistance or guidance from me. She was delighted to do so because she knew her favorite treat would be given to her upon completion of her task.My only concern is that the ramp might fall off the edge of the opening to the car. There really is no way to secure it or to actually snap-it-in-place. For that reason, I would never let her run up and down the ramp without my guidance to be sure that the ramp stays in place and that she doesn’t accidentally dislodge it.One reason I bought the ramp and really like it is that it weighs only 7 lbs. I am almost age 70 and am small in size. I have used heavier ramps belonging to my friends and don’t feel that it’s easy to carry or lift bigger ramps or fold them. This ramp is easy to fold and is really nice. I am so glad that I bought this ramp at a great price and that my dog has easily adjusted to using it.I will add that I drive a Ford Focus and that this short ramp is ideal in pitch and length. I had thought about getting a longer ramp, but it isn’t necessary. This length works well.

Esta muy útil. La parte verde es muy cómoda y suave. Poco a poco mi perrita se va acostumbrando y es que tiene 15 años y ha perdido visibilidad . Es excelente

I find this too heavy and without an easy way to carry this item. It is too easy to get fingers caught when folding. But I find it fits between the wall and bathtub perfectly, so I leave it in the bathroom for bathing my dog because she is too heavy for me to lift into the bathtub. I put a plastic chair in the bathtub for showering my dog. She steps onto the chair. For that it works perfectly. However, I cannot carry it to the car. It is too heavy and bulky for that. I will have to find a lighter and easier to carry for the car. I have a small car.

Good traction. Didn’t quite fit the side back entrance of my Element because of a door latch that sticks up, but I added a strip of closed cell foam along the upper edge of the ramp and it gripped just fine. My dogs took to it right away. Nice and small. Great back saver. A little awkward to unfold/carry but overall works well.

Just the ticket for a short ride (2 steps or into a van). Light and easy to handle. Good for our dog’s surgery- He is close to 100 lbs.

I wish this ramp had worked for my car but it did not. I drive a VW hatchback, and it was too short to use use for the rear hatch (way too steep an angle for my dog) and my back doors donât open wide enough for the ramp to sit flat. My only option was to use them in the front seats, and I donât want my wet dog getting in and out of the front of my car. However, the ramp does seem like it is top quality, light weight, foldable, and it come with a clip (which I couldnât find anywhere in my car to clip it). I missed the return date, so Iâm selling it locally.
