    Perfect for my chiweenie
She injured her back leg 4 weeks ago. Because this is soft and not steep she is able to go up and down easily..

    Excellent pet steps
I’ve been looking for pet steps for this dog for quite a while. Many are not high enough, many are too long or wide and take up too much space in the bedroom, some are too flimsy or too solid, many are just too pricey. These, for our needs, are perfect.Like many things these days, these steps come very compressed and rolled up, like a sleeping bag. You need to remove the outer plastic and then the inner wrapping around them. Note that for some reason (maybe time of day when I shot these) the color on those first photos is not accurate—too much purple. You can see when they’re first unwrapped that the fabric outside seems to be too large for the foam—the instructions say to allow 48 hours for expansion, but they seem to fill out in a day, maybe even less. These are kind of a combination of steps and ramp, and I think that’s very helpful for the pet; the incline seems to be easy to use, the fabric offers good traction, and they don’t take up very much space. The fabric is easily removable (it unzips) so it can be washed when needed. My bed is about 30” high, because I have a memory foam topper on top of a traditional mattress and box spring. I got the large, five-step size. The height of the stairs is about 22”, which means my medium-sized dog can easily get from the top “step” to the bed (see below, though). These take up 32” in floor space in length, and about a foot and a half in width. The cover has a handle so you can easily move these around. They’re sturdy but not heavy.I find no flaws whatsoever in this stair/ramp combination. My problem is that my dog is a rescue and was obviously trained not to come up on a couch or a bed, and, knowing that was one reason it’s taken me so long to buy a product like this. So, as you can see, I’m in the process of training her to use the stairs. But in terms of size, angle, sturdiness, and overall usefulness, I think these are great!

Reminds Me More of a Sliding Board Then Well-Defined Steps; Serves Petite Pets Best; Soft.
What am I reviewing?I am reviewing Sweet Home Collection Store’s five (5) tier pet [stairs?]How was this presented to me?Within a sealed, non-professional looking non-retail like clear shrink-wrapped kind of packaging. I appreciate items that are sealed as I feel the integrity of the product is not called into question. It reminded me of a large sleeping bag.Transparency APP?The package did “not” have a QR Code that I could scan that could give detailed information about this product; to allow “Transparency” surrounding the item, and to verify its authenticity and other product information. I appreciate when a product does have this option, as it typically even gives a picture of the product and confirms important product information, even Amazon promotions…Can this be given as a gift?Hmm, yes, it would be odd, other than for family, and the packaging is sealed, so it does not look like a re-gifting.Size of package?About 17” long and 10” in diameter.Weight of the package?About (7) pound2 and (10) ounces, heavier than I expected.Contents? The stairs of course, unwrap and allow to expand. What did this do?Allowed for small to petite pets to get onto higher ground by walking-up rather than having to do a full jump. [This may not work for apprehensive pets, rather for skilled and/or adventurous pets, from my observation.]Stability? It’s okay, it could be wider.Alternative uses?Children enjoy trying to crawl up this.True steps? No, more like very rounded steps. Until this started to fill out, it looked like a sliding board. My biggest criticism?I think the steps need a bit more definition and the steps wider. What I like the best?Removable cover and handle.Listing accuracy?I thought the listing exaggerated the definition of each step as being a tad squarer.Foam? It’s not memory foam, but it is some sort of foam material, as it is soft and did expand. I just wish I knew exactly its make-up, as I have concerns about chemicals that make the foam. I think what would have been best is if this was OEKO-TEX certified. But it’s not, so, for me, it’s not perfect.Step height?Reasonable rise for the five (5) tiers, but so rounded.Weight capacity?I think it should have been declared, but it was not. The listing declared this for large dogs, but a small was shown as the model.Portability?Good, I like that handle.Rounded edges of steps?I understand rounded edges possibly reduce the risk of injury, however, I would prefer a tad more definition.Country of originMade in China.Value?Based on the totality, I feel I received fair value. The retail price is competitive with similar models. Is this perfect?Hmm, the idea is excellent, I think execution slightly wanting. Yes, it’s kind of wide, but for mid-weight pets, I think wider would have been better, and although the foam is somewhat firm, heavier weights increase the depth of the impression. Additionally, the steps could be more defined, as at first, this reminded me of a bumpy sliding board than steps. My biggest risk is that children want to use this.Odor?Real or imagined, I thought there was a feint odor of some sort, I think it the foam; An odor controlling spray may best assist or a wash of the removable cover.Installation?Simple, open packaging, allow to expand, set-up at desired location. Literally minutes.Best feature? The removable cover. Is this perfect?I just do not think so, for my thoughts noted above.Rating?I think this deserves a solid four (4) stars, I do not think this perfect, but this can work for the right pet. Claws help. Lower the weight, the better. Personally, I opine best for cats and small dogs.I hope my thoughts added information.

3-step ramp perfect for our couch
Works well for my 30lb dog. The foam is dense enough to make the ramp stable, and to not collapse under his weight. It took a little while for it get into shape, which is to be expected since it came completely flattened and rolled up in a vacuum sealed bag. We already have a heavy-duty wooden ramp for the bed so even our largest 150lb dogs can walk up, but we needed a smaller for the couch, so our smallest dog doesn’t have to jump. This 3-step foam ramp is the perfect size for the couch. Doesn’t take up much space either, and my dog uses it with ease, his paws get a good grip on the fabric. It’s soft and also good to use as a foot rest. The cover is removable and washable. The grey color fits in everywhere. Very happy with this ramp.

Works for our small senior dog (5 tier)
Our six pound senior dog always needed help getting up and down from my teen’s bed, so I purchased these pet stairs hoping that he could be more self sufficient. The stairs came tightly packed and compressed; the instructions said to let the stairs expand for 48 hours. The cover can be unzipped to wash, but I’m a little worried about getting it back on when I do. After waiting two days, I set the stairs up next to the bed, it was the perfect height, and tried coaxing the dog up the stairs. He’s very reluctant, and part of that is because of the “squish” of the stairs. I think he feels a little unsteady on the soft surface. He’s gone up and down a few times with coaxing and I know eventually, he’ll just use them. Definitely measure the space these are going in, they were longer than I was thinking and had to place them somewhere else, but they work for us and I’m happy with them.
