Perfect replacement!
This is my second purchase of this replacement door for these dog houses. They fit perfectly and I’m glad to find them here as they seem hard to come by. Chewy sells them but the price there was much higher than what you can purchase them for here. The only thing I would complain about if one would want to call it a complaint are the “s” hooks that come with it. In my experience over the past 12 years of owning 2 of this type dog house, those hooks do not work or stay. I got to where I use zip ties and that works much better…for me anyway.

use nylon cable ties instead of hooks
Has held up for several winters in southwest Virginia. During the warm weather we just flap then up onto the top of the dog house and put a brick on them to keep them there. The hooks that come with it don’t work very well but cable ties work great. Had to toss some treats into the back of the dog house to get the dog to get comfortable going in and out, but only took a couple of times for her to get comfortable with it.

Petmate plastic doors
Works great to keep the heat in the coop, but, the s hooks that comes with it needs to be changed. I used small zip ties and it works great. I use the pet mate coops for my several small flocks of bantams.

Neat door…tricky for an unskilled woman to install
This is a great door for the Pet Barn. It’s very tricky to intall with three S hooks that the dog can easily knock off, so I got my son to secure it better. My dog is a chewer, and she did chew off a little corner at first, but for some reason, she’s decided to leave the door alone. I think she loves being sheltered from the wind and being able to see out. I have her Pet Barn filled with pine straw, and the door helps keep it in. In the beginning, she was afraid of the door, so I started putting delicious treats in the back of the dog house, and in a day or two, she had become familiar with the door and was going in and out freely. It’s a must for your dog house if you really love your dog and want to keep the elements off of them!

Wish this were heavier material
This was easy to install and is a clearer material than my previous door, but a much lighter material. I would love love itif it were a heavier material – thicker and weightier. It is installed outside – I’m not sure how it will handle the winter.

Hard to keep on
Fit perfect in our dog house. However the s hooks are difficult to bend to close or keep it attached to the frame. Will be just zip tieing it to the dog house to keep it on.

Works great, but not the S hooks.
Hey, I put the S hooks on the doghouse and the flat kept coming off. So I went to the hardware store and got some closable S hooks, and those worked beautifully.

En temporada de frÃo y lluvias, esta puerta es indispensable, ya que mantiene la casa del perro más cómoda al no permitir la entrada del viento. Su instalación es muy sencilla, incluye 3 ganchos que se colocan fácilmente en los orificios que vienen de fábrica en la casa. Si bien los ganchos son fáciles de colocar, también se caen con facilidad. Recomiendo utilizar cintillos o cinchos plásticos en su lugar. En general recomiendo l puerta.

La descripción me ayudó mucho, tomé las medidas de la puerta y quedó perfecto.Vienen unos ganchos que no funcionan pero les puse mejor hilo. Estoy encantada con el producto, mi husky no aguanta dormir adentro asà que afuera ya con esto me siento más tranquila de los moscos y lluvia
