Works – but had to make some adjustments.
I didnât even know they made these but discovered console pet car/booster seats while lookingfor some kind of bed my dog could ride in in the front seat. My dog weighs 12 lbs and this seatis perfect for her. I was thinking it might be too narrow and confining, but she seems to be verycomfortable and can lay down in it as well. My only complaint is the white fleece lining. The basecover can be washed but the rest of the bed probably wonât stay as snow white as the âbrand newâ white. Dogs and white anything donât go together. I do like that you can unsnap the pillow part and turn it down for a headrest although our dog preferred to have her head elevated with the pillow in the up position. Also it seems to be sturdy and the sides are reinforced so they donât collapse and hopefully will hold their shape. Since we have three vehicles Iâm having to adjust this seat for all three. The easiest way for me was to put (elastic) extensions on the straps and tether them where they would be most secure. I used âSâ hooks for the front straps, (the ones that are supposed to go around the console cover) and secured them under the front seats. Then I made extensions (elastic) for the back straps and secure them to the car seat latches already installed in the vehicle. It does take a few minutes to adjust the straps, but I feel it is more secure that just securing it with the console straps. The bed seems to be very snug and the bed stays put, although we can’t really access the console. But this works for us and is Sadie approved.

This car seat is very versatile to fit your center console. Genius design because the Front area comes down so your dog can rest their head while getting air from your air vents. The leash inside allows you to secure your dog so it doesnât jump out. The quality is good and the color is beautiful.I preferred this over the car seat that sits in the passenger side because you have easy access to your dog.Update⦠my teenage daughter loved the car seat so much. She bought one for her boy dog.I just canât say enough about how great the execution is on this product.The brown one is a beautiful color and the fur is different to create a completely different style. ð

Sturdier than expected
Quality item and looks pretty good in my car, so much so that I actually leave it on the console all the time and use it to hold my umbrella or purse when my furball is not coming for the ride. Although she weighs less than 2 lbs, she does spend a bit of time standing on her hind legs and resting along the walls and they stay put, no collapsing, super easy to install . She usually zonks out within 5 minutes of being in the car and if she could talk, she would tell me to give it 5 stars. I like the sturdy, removable floor that is soft and furry on one side and water resistant on the other side. I usually wrap the removable floor with a wee pad and reinstall it … just in case 😉

Sturdier than ones Iâve had in the past. Comfy for my 11lb chihuahua mix but could be a little roomier. Feels safe and is very soft. I did add some memory foam in the bottom so itâs softer/more cushion rather than being hard.

Very cute car seat
I am so torn about this car seat. When I first received it, I was in absolute love with it. It is a gorgeous car seat. It’s very soft, very plush, very comfortable, super easy to install in car. It’s perfect size for My Car. It’s the perfect size for my 10 week old 4 pound Shih Tzu, however, the downside to this is we clipped the safety strap to his harness, tightened it as far as it could go, and he still able to completely jump out of it and managed to jump behind it and was hanging, which was a little scary because I was driving luckily my kiddos were in the car and able to grab him. I still feel that it is a great car seat and will be good once he’s fully trained and understands the car seat, but you definitely cannot rely on the strap that connects to the safety harness to keep them in it at least when they are this little I don’t know about bigger dogs

This wonât be automatically accepted. As with anything, dogs need time to adjust to it.
We have a Palisade and a 7 1/2 pound slender young Japanese chin. She fits fine and even I was able to install it. I introduced it slowly. She started jumping in and out of it throughout car rides. After about a week I settled her into it and could tell she was realizing what it was for. I clipped her harness to it. She sat there briefly but wanted to get back out. So in my experience, I wonât feel comfortable clipping her in if Iâm the one driving because when she jumps out I would feel I had to pull over and unclip her.Too much distraction. I would not want to use a collar for this or any dog car seat. Maybe they eventually learn to just stay put. We took a 2+hour ride and she sat in it a bit, which felt so good having her secured in case of sudden stops. . But it didnât last long at least right now. I donât feel like any other seat would be different. Yes she can jump out, and yes the sides can collapse easily, but I didnât want to spend a fortune, only to find out what I already thoughtâ¦my spoiled dog doesnât any to be in it all the time, but again, Iâve only had her around it for a week,plus sheâs young and energetic..Iâm glad I bought it though. Hoping she learns to sit still for longer periods of time so I can manage her in it alone. I would recommend this for many reasons.

Petsfit Center Console Dog Car Seat just arrived, three days early.It is not in my car yet, but, I love it and my Frodo sat right in it.This black with grey fun fur is a quality Dog seat.It has bottom cross Web Reinforcing straps for the attached dog collar tether, 2 console tethers & the 2 ratchet style hook anchors to attach to the rear bolts of both front seats.The hard board fits perfectly in the bottom. It is contained within a lined fun fur cover with a waterproof pad.Upgrade thoughts—-1. add a solid or stiff insert to the seat back for retained shape.2. add a deeper 2 inch cushion, like memory foam, and increase the height .This was a good choice, looks like quality…glad I ordered it….andPutting it in the car and Frodo is going Car Ride to the Park.Thank you.Oct. 7/24
