Quality product, works perfectly, total control from phone
I have several Ring doorbell cameras and they work great. But those are all outdoor cameras. I wanted an indoor camera with excelent picture quality and panning capability to see the whole room so I could check on my dog when I’m away from the house. Since I already have some cameras, there was no additional cost to set it up and stream and record via my phone. It give me a complete 360 degree view and I can even tilt up and down remotely.Easy to install and I was up and running in no time.I bought the white to fit in with my decor but its available in black, gray, a rose color, and starlight (kindof an off white). I also have Alexa and this camera is fully compatible with Alexa devices.Overall, a very nice product that I recommend.

    Great Performance at Low Cost
I have several Ring cameras/doorbells for external use but I needed an indoor camera to monitor my basement when I am not at home or not in the basement. Fortunately, Ring cameras allow you to enable or disable motion detection based on the Ring Alarm mode so this camera was a perfect complement to my Ring-based security system.Prior to purchasing the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera I purchased a Ring Stickup Camera with the separate Pan/Tilt base. It’s a great camera and extremely versatile but the total cost was quite a bit more than the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera. For indoor use the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera provides essentially the same set of features for a considerably lower cost. Integrating the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera into my existing Ring Alarm system was a breeze. The camera performance is great and the smaller footprint allowed me to place it in a smaller and more discreet location.I do have a couple of minor issues with the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera, but these tend to be things that affect all Ring cameras that connect via WiFi. I would like the option of connecting all Ring WiFi cameras using the 5 GHz WiFi channels. There are obviously some issues with distance and obstructions with 5 GHz and higher frequency WiFi channels, but having the option to use 5 GHz channels would help me avoid the highly congested 2.4 GHz channels. Only supporting 2.4 GHz today is very limiting.I would also like it if all Ring Cameras supported Ethernet connectivity, and better yet, Ethernet with PoE. All of my Ring Doorbell Cameras and all but one of my Ring Stick-Up Cameras support Ethernet with PoE. From a security standpoint this is the gold standard since WiFi can be jammed. I understand that adding Ethernet and PoE would cost more (and for Ring it costs a lot more) but Ring does not currently offer a Pan/Tilt mount for any of its products with Ethernet or Ethernet with PoE.That said, my Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera (and all of my Ring WiFi cameras) has been very reliable when using WiFi connectivity.

    Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera Review
This is a review of the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera. Overall, I give it 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. This is an initial review as the camera was set up not long ago.Likes:1. Quality camera resolution. Of course this can be dependent on your internet speed as it is connected via WiFi.2. Night vision works great.3. Motion detection works great and is highly adjustable for range and sensitivity.4. Alerts of any motion is great and can be adjusted to your preferences.5. App for remote viewing is good and easy to use basic stuff. Some adjustments when you have it integrated to the Ring Alarm can get more complicated.6. Audio receive and transmit is great.7. The Pan and Tilt features are such an advantage over the old models. Now you can swivel side-to-side, up-and-down from the app in your phone or tablet. Plus, after viewing is done, the camera will reset to the default position, which I really like. If you want a more permanent adjustment, just physically adjust the camera.8. A little more weight to the camera versus the older models that were too lightweight. If I bumped the cord of the old ones, it would jostle the position and angle of view. The bew model minimizes this with a little more heft, which will keep it stable when it Pan-Tilts.Dislike:- None so far for this camera. I do have some complaints for may aging Ring system. Sometimes I felt that when you get an alert and try to view the alert (never tried with this specific camera yet), it would be delayed before you can get a live feed. By the time you see anything, the person could be long gone. Then when you go to review the footage, it takes long to load.Overall, this Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera has been great initially, 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. We shall see in the long-term. The old ones are still working great, but how will the pan-tilt motors hold up?

Serves its purpose but could be improved
This wired Ring camera gets a 4 star because every time it gets unplugged the Ring has to recalibrate and resets the home position. I’ve installed this in the kids room on the ceiling and it often gets unplugged because it shares an outlet. First time it was installed and calibrated it kept hitting the corner of the walls and giving an error. It would be great for the Ring to recognize and adjust to its surroundings. The video quality is great but the sound could be better. It picks up a lot of background noise and distorts audio. The frequency of the video is a bit much but could be adjusted through the app. I appreciate the night vision function and the ability for it to adjust quickly. This isn’t specific to the item, but it would be nice for the video to run continuously rather than with a max 120secs.
