Consistent, dependable, deliciousâ¦expensiveâ¦
My service dog, Delta, is essential in my life. He has been eating Royal Canin Golden Retriever kibble, first the puppy formulation, then the adult formulation, since I got him at 10 weeks old. I donât even want to try other foods with him. I have tried many other brands and formulas for previous rescued pets I have had (a lab-Pitt mix and two cats) but even with them I ended up with Royal Canin SO for one of the cats. Itâs quite expensive, that is for sure, but I also note that Delta seems to require a lot less than the package states. Instead of a bag lasting one month, typically one 30 pound bag will last us about two months, making the price $50/month which is comparable to other brands.Aside from allergies causing skin hot spots in March/April of each year, Delta has been perfectly healthy with excellent and consistent stools. Also importantly – Delta loves his food and we even use it for training and treats. I truly hope the price will not increase any more than it already has as you have a loyal customer in us!

Our Golden Charlie had a difficult time with foods as a pup, diarrhea a big problem⦠but after we tried Royal Canin , he was a different dog. He is 3 now and still loves it. We wet it and mix toppers in to change it up and he loves it. I like that he stays lean and muscular on this food . Highly recommend

Feel Confident
I have been feeding this to our Australian Shepard for the past two years. I feel like a good dog mom knowing it’s a quality brand. Our dog seems to have no digestive issues and he looks forward to each feeding.

Good food but…..
Our two-year-old Golden Retriever, Shadow, is a really picky eater. Plus, she seemed to be developing some skin issues. We decided to try the Royal Canin Golden Retriever dry food along with the wet food. Shadow really likes the Royal Canin Golden Retriever dog food and it seems to help her coat. She ate this loaf wet food for awhile but then grew tired of the taste. It is a loaf and doesn’t have visible vegetables or textures. It seems to be high quality but she stopped eating it. Also, the cans seem to be very expensive, a bit over 4.00 a can. Overall, I recommend the dry food but not this product due to the lack of variety.

Omg this dog food is life saving
My golden has been having diarrhea problems for about two months. We took her to two different animal hospitals to check but everything is normal. Also changed two different dog foods still not solving any problems. And Iâm sick of picking up gloppy watery gross poop everyday â¦..so After some researches and a friendâs recommendation, I decided to try this. And omgâ¦the next day she had the perfect poop i could ever asked for! Thank you thank you!! No more gross poop to pick up!!!Tbhâ¦i think itâs because of this product has less protein than most of dog foods. For other people who also has golden retrievers, any dog food that is above 50% protein may will cause some stupid butt issuesâ¦The only complaining i have for this product is this is overpriced. If i feed my dog as the recommend amount of food everyday this whole bag might only last for about 10 days. So i have to mix with rice and chicken when i feed my dog just to save some budget.
