Safe yet make it aesthetically pleasing
I really like this gate. It is great quality and easy to install. More importantly it is easy to use and open. It keeps my baby safe from going places he doesnât need to be going and fit very nicely in our stairwell. We are going to buy another one for our open closet. Pleased with our purchase.

Pretty metal and wood! A perfect option without drilling holes!
I wasnât sure about this gate until it was time to install and now I absolutely love it. The red/green indicator to let you know if the gate is sturdy enough is really helpful since we used the pressure mounting vs. the drilling. I also love that it snaps close if you give it a soft kick when holding the baby and canât use your hands. (FYI this doesnât close automatically with a spring. Itâs manual close). Itâs really easy for an adult to open the gate yet still very sturdy so when my baby pushes up against it it doesnât move. They do have options to nail it into your wall if you want but I went with the pressure mount option since I have wood walls that I canât just spackle after the gate is no longer needed. The farmhouse look matches our home perfectly. I wasnât sure about it until after installing it. It doesnât stick out like a sore thumb in our home and has a pretty and pleasant look to the stairs so now I donât mind the gate being there. If youâre like me and donât want a bunch of cheap-looking plastic safety baby items all over the house and are looking for an option with metals and woods to match a home with dark features or a rustic/farmhouse look, then this is a perfect safe option for you.

Don’t buy
I never, ever write reviews. So, it’s saying something that I’m taking the time to write one. This gate is awful. I received the gate and the box was missing almost all of hardware. I asked them to send me missing pieces, which they did promptly. However, they still didn’t include all hardware. As an example, they sent 3 tension knobs instead of 4(just one example). The plastic pieces on the hinge were already damaged. Plus, the instructions suck. I’m so incredibly frustrated. I have no words.

Gorgeous gate – a little small
I had to get a gate extender to install this gate to the entryway of my kitchen, which was a hassle and a bit annoying to have to spend extra money. I just ordered a random one here on Amazon, it worked fine.Other than that, this gate was well worth the money. It looks amazing in my home. If you don’t want the tacky look of a traditional baby gate in the middle of your main living space, this is the perfect gate. Just measure your space and make sure it’s going to fit before you get too excited, like I said – it’s small

Only Stops My Husky with Both Bottom Latches Down
This gate will only stop my husky if I bend down and put both of the bottom latches down. This is a hassle to do every time. If I don’t put both latches down my Husky figures out how to open the gate. I bought another one by Babelio (The metal baby gate with the wooden pattern, size 29-40 inches) and this stops my Husky and I don’t have to undo latches at the bottom. So I recommend that if you have a strong and smart dog like a husky you should get that gate by Babelio or a similar item. The gate by Babelio automatically latches and unlatches at the bottom, and you press on the release buttons to open the gate. You don’t have to bend down and lift latches on the bottom like with this gate by Safety First. It latches on the bottom when you close the gate.

Great poduct
This was a good purchase it was kind of hard to understand the directions but not hard to assemble. Has extra pieces of the product that can extend it further if necessary this was actually purchased to keep our dog from upstairs but will be also great for children because it has a nice lock feature at the top and latches at the bottom

Cute design but not durable
Easy to install but seems like the lock mechanism failed in less than a year if not a little over a year. I was gifted one and purchased 2 more and they all have to seem the same problem.

I love this safety gate! I had to purchase a second one after my husband tried to walk through it in a rush out the door, but it held up perfectly while our daughter was learning to stand and walk. I thought about getting a cheaper gate but I couldnât go from this beautiful gate to a standard looking gate, especially since we will need it for a while longer as we are expecting another baby soon. The push and slide to open safety feature is great and I can easily spot from a distance if it wasnât closed properly. You can see from the pic the color difference in the gates even though I purchased the exact same gate; Iâm not complaining because the new one actually matches our floors better! I definitely think itâs worth it and I definitely would recommend.

Se siente muy firme y de buen material. En mi escalera que mide 90 cm de ancho encajo sin las extensiones y todo bien, evita que mi hijo de año y medio use las escaleras. Estéticamente es muy bonito, combina con mis muebles.
